So there's this guy named Taj. He's kind of a baller. He's also pre'eh good at Melee. Dat Marth/Mewtwo. Obviously I'm not the only one, but I had the pleasure of meeting him in person at Genesis 2 along with getting a front row seat for most of his big matches. And after his amazing performance at the tournament, I decided to make a thread dedicated to how professional the dude is. Shoutouts to Axe for helping me come up with this idea.

So basically, this thread is where you can post awesome things Taj has done in the past, until we have an extensive library of the guy's greatest moments.

Not a problem. I also kinda wish that I recorded the end of his set where he beat Mango, but I feel like it would have ruined my personal hype a bit, if that makes any sense lol. Oh well, that video is going to be uploaded by Brandon at some point anyway, so it's all good.

Someone should make a combo video for him featuring both his M2 and Marth and it should be called Shadow Sword or something

So, I was gonna troll this thread so hard, and be like "hey if you would spend more time training and less time sucking other players' ****s, than you could be as good as taj", but then I watched the taj-pp set....

And realized sometimes people need to have their **** sucked!

I remember the first time I was really around Tony extensively at a tournament and heard him well, talked to him, etc. He would just bust out into random rap songs and for some reason the one I remember most is X GONNA GIVE IT TO YA. So now whenever I think of Taj doing something **** my mind auto connects it as X GON GIVE IT TO YA. And it's pretty fitting considering he just did something **** when I think of it =P

One of my friends who came from Ohio to Genesis is a big fan of Taj, and even before he got into bracket, we started singing this song we made up on the spot based on the Frosted Flakes song.

We started singing it in the room but were too embarassed to try and cheer like that during the crew battle/bracket. Eventually we just decided to join in some suck that **** chants and be done with it.

I was supposed to do a second crazy hyrule adventure while drunk at Genesis 2, but I guess it will have to wait until Apex! :D

Need more Taj threads. Man don't need no hitboxes to win.

Also, those videos are epic. I love the use of Mewtwo that deep in the tournament. Friggen epic to another level.

Armada is a close second though.

One time when I was in Arizona, after like 2 hours of friendlies with Taj, he shot a shadowball which i tried to shield, but he decided to curve it around my shield and shieldstab me from back. It's in shadowclaw 3 at the very end. **** was dopeeee hahaha
