I can't remember the last time I faced a DK offline with Sonic. At WHOBO, Ripple wouldn't play my Sonic with DK (something about Oreo scarring him for life or iono) and I haven't played Neon in FOREVER.

Maybe you were so bad, he was afraid I would get 3 stocked and leave the venue crying.

also these are the vids from my most recent tournament.

Yup, I lost to Ice Climbers on Brinstar, the sad thing is that if I had kept my game tighter in the beginning, I could have taken it to game 3. That 30 second stretch near the end of game 1 is my controller screwing up. I use wiichuck and I don't know wtf happened, but I had to reset it. Maybe I need a new wii remote and nunchuk, I've never heard of this happening to other wiichuck players. In any case I definitely brought it closer than last time we played.

this match had me scared, suddenly i wasn't so smug about facing another mid tier
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK4kdRyW66A
exactly why I decided to strike this stage first
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDRaTkGgehk
Similar to match 1 at first, but once I got the lead, I widened my lead continuously.

overall, kind of a poorly played set, I've forgotten all the things I knew about the matchup when i practiced it often. I was getting punished for being predictable, but he wasn't really punishing me hard enough it seemed. I only died under 150 once I think.

I'm sure Kinzer could offer some insight for the matchup.

If its one thing I thought I could do in this matchup, its camp with a lead. Yet somehow I managed to lose a full stock lead and eventually the game on the most basic stage available. After that I didn't know what to do.

Whenever I had Youtube videos that only had Sonic pertaining to certain sections of the video, I'd just link it as Infzy had in his post.

So, it'd end up being:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2MEHOxEWWo&t=41m0s - X (Sonic) vs. Seibrik (Meta Knight)

Then another one with the same link, but a time directing towards X vs. Ally. Of course, they'd also be under their proper character orders as well.

Rully rully bad. Can't you just upload it overnight? That way it won't be of any annoyance to you.

It'd be appreciated.

Not too often do we get to see (vs.) Pit, or Japan, or high-top level play of it.

I'm not gonna nag for it though. I know all too well how much trouble it is to record and upload even if you have the equipment.

Now that would be interesting, considering that the only reason it would take me three hours to upload videos was because I uploaded them in their uncompressed file format... I can't remember, I think it was .AVIs.

At least the quality of the videos was comparable to that of high definition pornography; certainly worth the wait.

... Either way, please do tell, leave out no details.

I have match 2 and 3.

X lost first high % last stock, won second same way, third was lost by a timeout jv 2 stock, killing pit with 1 second left.

oh, there was also no planking or deliberate stalling tactics used, earth just chose not to die...

One of the games against K Prime this weekend had him surviving up to 260+% on his first stock.
I was pretty sad.

I couldn't get the last kill on Ankoku's Sheik until either 263% or 273% I forgot which one. It was on Castle Siege.

Needless to say, was iMad.

What could you be hitting with that doesn't kill at those percents. Bthrow kills a little later than Upthrow, Uair is a safe killer by thing, Nair .....

I can't imagine being able to get that much damage on without landing grabs ..

im confused? how do you guys let people live that long?

I mean. Im probably the most consistent person here that lets people get to 180. but how the hell are you people letting dudes live past up throw kill percents?

Me?

I'm too scared to make grab attempts if I'm also at a kill percent.

I feel safer if I Fair.

Everything else puts me in a position where if it doesn't hit, I'm going to die.

I hate coin flip actions, so I rather do it slowly take it easy and be in a position where I can bounce back if something doesn't go my way.

Oh yeah, I forgot I would also abuse ball attacks a lot then too.

Too bad those could be shielded too. ;~;

I'm pretty sure if someone shields a fair, you get OoSd with a nair or bair or uair and you die. Alot safer to just play around outside their range then.............dashgrab.

If it's on shields... I would say it depends on the situation. For example, if you're attempting to shield poke an opponent who's on a platform, you're very safe with fair, although, just the same you could try to go for a nair/bair to try and set up for a jab lock if the platforms are small enough (or if they're close enough to the edge, but you knew that already).

Generally, I prefer uair over fair/dashgrab punishes in tight situations (where I'm not attempting a landing), but don't worry about my advice/preferences. I'm a terrible player.
