It depends on the speed you're going at when you land. If you're going straight down or in the opposite direction you initially were going in when you land, then the next time you go off of a platform or the stage you will go straight down.
I see. Thanks you two, that'll give me something to look at.Kinzer: When an ASC lands on a platform, it "remembers" the horizontal velocity that it had just before it landed. If it then rolls off a platform into another ASC, then its speed will be the speed it had just before it landed. Resulting in very counter-intuitive motion :o
That is:
- SDR's speed is determined entirely by the amount of "charge"
- ASC's speed is determined entirely by the amount you lean it while you're in the air
They don't have anything to do with each other, and both values last for the whole duration of the spindash.
So like, X plays that match-up horribly. He should really play more "In your face" against Pit. The only time spindash works is if they are trying to arrow camp and not using the ledge whilst doing so.X vs Earth 2

Why does it take that long? My videos only take like 40-50 odd mins to upload long matches. (This is comin from a person with around 0.37 mbps upload speed lol)not to mention you guys dont know about australias 3+ hour upload time for single matches.
an 8 minute vid will be like 5 hours sigh. I'll do it though...

Walk and shield. He isn't exactly Meta Knight. When you're within range to punish an arrow, he gets smacked. I haven't had an issue with Pit like ever. Hell, I've even given Admiral Pit a run for his money. I don't care how melodramatic that kid is, his Pit is sick.well, then again, what DO we do against a campy Pit? IMO more running-towards-him-and-PS'ing-arrows rather than spindashing... but *shrug*
Truthfully, I prefer to aggro Pit when I have the lead. He doesn't have any "GTFO" moves. He has moderately good spacing moves like Fair, Dair and Ftilt but those won't do him any good with a Sonic breathing down his neck. Dair is like his safest option because it covers a decent amount of space and disrupts a grounded assault.once you have the lead against Pit, you don't need to approach. Just chill on the other side and block arrows, amirite?
Like, can Pit actually generate offense?
Pshaw. You can powershield them forever. Just walk forward and shield if they are angling them down. His arrows aren't very fast.In theory, if you shoopy woopy arrow loopy!
But, otherwise, they are decent enough. You can't actually powershield things forever. And if you aren't power shielding things, they can be angled up and down to try to poke.
