Camalange: I started to realize it after a few days when I said the joke. But I didn't find what funny about it. And the joke jsut came from me misspelling a word wrong. I was suppose to say "Winning Streak", not "Winning steak."But hell, i liek to funny. i'm happy a lot people found it funny.

Tenki: Now, I understand why you guys did that. Thank you so much for making me the better player. I'll make sure thie week I sweep tha ttroueny for you guys under the name Steak, and hell I'll go all Sonic just to make it better. Let's just hope i can get videos, and not run into a Mk. Im finding his Marth extremley tough... he used to be a cakewalk cause i could gimp him 1-2 stocks a match... and that round two performance made me cry (if i misstime his spotdoge, dolphin slash....) pointer's would be lovley especially on Devin's marth

Also...vs Devin-R1, 1:00-1:05, was just plain sexy. Using the spin dash for better aerial control and avoiding attacks?? Too good man. Very good stuff.

That was good man, but some things to improve upon.
Use side-B to recover
Shield grab and punish
Punish his counter.

So yeah, aside from that, really good matches Jman. I agree with Camalange, I've never used side-B like that, lol. I should try now... :O

I'm starting to like Anther's Sonic. <3
Whilst still pretty basic, it's still effective.
I watched 1&2 vs Dingdong, and he basically plays exactly like I do, minus ASC.
So many grab feints, especially in the second one.

He rarely counters, and i do shiel grab a lot... it just whiffs due to his spacing..

Really, DB and spot dodge/Dolphin Slash own me...

KID, that is some of the best advice in awhile, really. My run speed owns his attacks. Retreat to set up/saftey mixed with instant reverse SDR with invincibilty frame-hax-pro should do...

His spacing dictates it a lot... i needs other vids for complexities' sake. Its a straight defensive fight there...

yeah the marth is being very defensive. you can boil his strategy to "ima fair around in a small area until he runs into it, then react with side B or a fair, then deal as much damage on followups.


you need to position yourself at mid range better. if you start coming at him from a full screen away, you are giving him more time to react. if you cut that space in half, not only are you too far for any standing move to reach you, but if he does anything, you can punish in time. even if he tries to run away or camp, reposition so that you are outside of his maximum range, this will force movement on his part by him self. this will also let you punish his fair spam better, because you are closer to him. you ran into his attacks way too much, so id just be a bit more patient and practice your spacing more.


so, youre runnign in and out of his range without going to the other side of the stage. what about the side B. just shield and grab. or ftilt.

Its cool, a guy at last thursday's weekly was sick. I caught what he had so hard i legit had to call off work. Its ok, i've been playing Bioshock PS3, 3 Trophies b4 Platnium, woot! Good waste of time till i get my Wii situation in order again

As an aside, quite a few of my tourney players were thinking of venturiing to C3... i'd love to meet some good Sonic's there.

Updated. I also added three of my most recent recordings with a dude's kirby. We also got some video, finally, of a Wolf, so that's pretty awesome.

Of course, more Marth videos are never a bad thing.

Also, we seem to be lacking in the Pit/ICs/Jigglypuff vids.

Also, I'm thinking of a new layout for the videos. What say you guys about a Dinner Menu look, with the Winning Steak's best vids as the Main course?
