Question time so I don't get told off - do you think Sonic benefits or suffers more on Wi Fi? Does one outway the other? I find people can have trouble reacting to Sonic's speed in lag but lag messes up my grab game horribly which is a pretty big part of Sonic's playstlye

Rick, Sonic suffers. It's about punishing moves, which becomes harder on wifi. Also, your speed is your downfall on wifi. You can't react in time with your movements. Your like 'DASH GAB NOW' and he uses it when you're trough the opponent

My Sonic game is heavily reliant on powershield>grab. its soo good. On anything but a perfect wifi connection, I just can't do it.

Have any of you ever tried like, spacing with other characters after getting used to spacing with Sonic? Ever since I learned to space with Sonic, spacing with marth and my other chars became Soooooooooooooooooo much easier. Everyone else just feels so relatively easy to with in comparison to Sonikku. I can land tippers with marth night and day XD

Wifi doesnt really benefit Sonic on anything except the wifi combo Imo. And input delay causing you to dair of the edge isntead of doing a dash attack is SO annoying.

Dash Dance pivots are harder to do on wifi too. and blah blah all this precision required to use sonic well fails.

I have to say, ever since I came here and fought some of you guys, my game has improved vastly. I was seriously impressed at the amount of thought that went into the playing of Sonic. It's really helped both my Peach and Sonic game

Lol yea running off the stage sucks...horribly. At least Peach isn't fast enough to accidently run off the side of the stage

what's funny is that the awesome Snake C4 footstool that I did - it was a wifi match, and the airdodge that sent me flying down next to him was actually supposed to be a grab by the ledge.

And also after I realized that I was only getting hit by turnips and many attacks because of wifi lag.

You know, we don't always jump up and use aerials like idiots. Spaced Fair's can outrange Sonic's Bair, Toad can also stop stuff...and if it really isn't working, I tend to just drop my float and try and hit Sonic with something else

Also, I hate people who can DI out of Peach's Dair

For your information, the group of people I normally play with have voted that edgehogging is impolite in friendlies. So now I don't do it to other people so as not to potentially offend them since they are friendlies after all. I'll glady do it in competitive fights
