Honestly, this thread is great if you use it correctly.
Nominate videos and watch videos that others nominate. DMG is pretty useless in this thread, but if you follow it you get to see all the vids.

I have a question.
In 5:14 of the San video, he did something like a running reverse upsmash... Kind of reminiscent of sqiurtle's hydroplaned u smash. I've never seen that before; how is that possible?

I'm just saying that the Zelda video would probably be in the OP if it the lucario was better. What's the point of seeing a best vid of a character if they're just beating down on scrubs?

can you honestly show me a zelda video where she wins, and the first thing out of your mouth wasnt, WOW, that other guy is EFFING TERRIBLE

the videos are so barebones in the OP it needs to have SOMETHING in it.
The way some of you shoot down every single video, You might as well just change the name to "The best brawl Vids" because there are just some characters that arent going to be able to put up vids of proficiency with the character without either 1. the opponent being bad, or 2. the character. losing anyway.
Its the best vids of each character. and currently, that DM vid is the best vid of Zelda, everything else doesnt and shouldnt matter.
p.s. everything I said goes for Mr.Ehs bowser vid too.

I really dont have a problem with that at all. as long as your ten year old cousin can actually reasonably defend himself. Seeing as you cant really show any kind of quality zelda play, if you cousin doesnt know how to recover after you throw him off the stage at 0...

That's a much better video. There were plenty of mistakes (Zelda's recovery stock 1 O_O) but it's better than the other one, the Zelda section is empty, and it could adequately hold the place until a better video surfaces.

I say put both in, but as a demonstration of how to space and mindgame and use zelda correctly and effectively, the DM vid is far and away a better representation.

That Peach was absolutely terrible at dealing with the fireballs. Seriously just DAIR or NAIR THEM. =/
It's not 3 month, it's more around 6 month. Exceptions are made for characters with extremely stagnant metagames that will not likely progress even with enormous lapses forward in time. Link, Ganon, etc

I would argue that Ganon's metagame has gone places in the last six months, if noly because crazy mofos keep trying to play him. Vermanubis got 3rd at a NE tourney recently. Crazy.
