U-air is my second-favorite KO move in this game, besides back throw, of course. B-air isn't bad (it's my third favorite KO move), but it doesn't seem to be as effective as it was in Brawl, though.that last gif is why i believe edgeguarding with PKT is decent.
I tried doing some PKT stuff onstage, but it's slightly easier for the opponent to dodge the PKT2 followup once the PKT bolt passes through.
That PKT to UAir was OP.
Also, falling Airdodge --> UAir is now looking super legit.
I believe this is because of vectoring and possible larger blast zones rather than it actually being nerfed. It just doesn't stop the game for a few milliseconds anymore when the sweetspot occurs. =PU-air is my second-favorite KO move in this game, besides back throw, of course. I tend to mostly use f-air for gimping at high percents or against Little Mac. It's surprisingly good at its role. I sometimes use N-air, though at times I do find it difficult to hit wit PKT1 juggle, but when I can get a string going... Anyway, I'll take your advice and see what I can do with it. PKT edge-guarding is incredibly good. Many characters prefer to manouver themselves below stage where their upB will snap them to the ledge. When they're doing this, if you hit them with PKT1 it tends to send them up right next to you where you can basically just get a free aerial.
People can jab you after being hit by a dtilt most of the time unless they're slightly popped up off the ground, and dtilt > grab was a decent followup in previous games. The only real way for it to give you a beneficial situation is if you're quicker than they can react to a dtilt, which makes it useless because it only does 3-6 % then. What does grabs not having super armor have to do with dtilt'so effectiveness?
And I have yet to use dtilt once in a serious match. I do like ftilt and Utilt though.
LOL. YEAH I was like WHAT?Ahh well played Chrono, that PKT1 kill off the top was really funny, i've done that a few times too and you're just like " O.O really?"
EAGLEYE! I miss you dudeee, join my WiiU Recording Ness Compilation thread man!Chrono makes his appearance! xD
All I know is dthrow does 7% instead of 9%. It can still be used to combo out of though.Okay has Ness been changed guys? I'd like to know if we got any significant changes.
The only thing I THINK I MIGHT have noticed is that Uair I thought only did 9% or 10% damage but now it seems to do about 13%?
I heard in the update thread that d-throw has been nerfed from 9% to 7%. Don't have time to confirm, though.Okay has Ness been changed guys? I'm not sure if I can tell without looking at frame data and whatnot.

Now, I heard PKT deals significantly less knockback whether PKT1 or PKT2. Can someone confirm for me? I have to do homework...Okay has Ness been changed guys? I'm not sure if I can tell without looking at frame data and whatnot.

Doesn't seem like it to me. I played ~50 Ness matches on FG since the patch and haven't noticed any PKT changes. Now, I heard PKT deals significantly less knockback whether PKT1 or PKT2. Can someone confirm for me? I have to do homework...
Good. I just heard one person say it. I'll test it out when I get time, but I doubt anything's changed about PKT, really.Doesn't seem like it to me. I played ~50 Ness matches on FG since the patch and haven't noticed any PKT changes.
I got knocked out of the GS tourney in the semis by a (good) Rosalina... I feel ashamed. I let Ness down. And to Rosalina of all characters... it still hurts.Alright Nessers, tonight's the release of Smash 4 for the Wii U. I look forward to playing many of you, and seeing you prosper in tournament. Have fun!
