How does it work?
The bug made it so you couldn't select or create anymore icons in any series I think, since the Mother 3 icons were exclusive to Japan's version of the NSO app. They added them to the USA version (and maybe others), too, though, so I guess that fixed the bug. I'm not sure why it kept you from other series' icons, but it's all good now. I assume since they were Japan-exclusive, and they weren't present in other versions of the app at first (but were still in your icon inventory), they broke the icon system or something like that. I didn't experience this myself, however, since I waited until I read it was fixed to even try.

If you mean how it works to let you get them, you just need to change your Nintendo account's region through an internet browser on the My Nintendo site. Go to your account's settings, then edit your user information.

After that, the NSO app on your Switch should automatically update, but it'll require you to log in again, and it may need to restart the app before that. Everything should be in the same spot it's in within the English version of the app, just it's all in Japanese now :p

I don't like wishing harm upon video game developers. Game development is a very long and difficult process and they deal with enough stress as is, so they don't deserve more crap from people like me who have never coded in their life.

With that in mind, I hope whoever designed Markoth's boss battle in Hollow Knight gets smacked in the nuts at least once a year, oh my ****ing god this boss fight is so bad

The final Project Voltage song has been released (well, final of the original 18 songs. They’ve tweeted about continuing production, including songs, so more PokéMiku!); this is “Glorious Day” by Eve, ft. Miku:

I think it’s really cool! It has every type of Miku from the 18 Types artwork in it, as well as two new Mikus who are rivals. One of the new Mikus seemed to have fought Red and lost, though only his legs/shoes appear so you just see him walk away from her.

There’s also new art to celebrate the new song’s release; “Celebration” by Rella, ft. the original Miku, every Pokémon type of Miku, and Meloetta:
IMG_5690.jpeg

also Happy Miku Day and SMRPG Anniversary Day! hopefully I can draw something for today/MAR10 xD

Now I’m watching Totally Spies. Another show I loved in my childhood.

I remember Cartoon Network would air re-runs of it in a block with Kids Next Door and the Totally Spies spinoff The Amazing Spiez right when I got home from school and I watched it every day.

I decided to get Duck Game for Switch as Warner Bros. is once again continuing their reign of being the worst company in history.

So ngl, while I am enjoying OP so far I am kinda dreading the timeskip. Idk on the manga, but I have heard the anime does get worse, ranging from a little to a lot. But I'll keep pressing on, shame the pre-ts designs gotta go because I'm not a huge fan of some of the post-ts designs.

It's mostly the anime that gets worse, the pacing goes from bad to straight up intolerable. In the manga, the timeskip doesn't start out the best (your mileage may vary however) but it does get better and there are some iconic moments there, some of them even fairly recent.

Some Pokemon I'd involve if I got to write my own PMD game:

The main Pokemon besides the hero-partner is Giratina (dude deserves a PMD time to shine, he's kinda been pushed aside by Dialga and Palkia)

Some general NPCS would include:
  • Brionne (Essentially the Grovyle/Hydreigon of the game who plays an important role in the story)
  • Skarmory
  • Gurdurr
  • Dolliv
  • Hitmontop
  • Dodrio
  • Mightyena
  • Araquanid
  • Ribombee
  • Roserade
The shoprunners would be:
  • Kecleon (duh. Runs the Kecleon Shops)
  • Kangaskhan (also duh. Runs the Storage)
  • Falinks (runs the Link Shop, c'mon it's brilliant)
  • Gholdengo (runs the Bank)
  • Seismitoad (runs the Dojo)
  • Farfetch'd (runs the Request Board and online missions)
  • Darumaka (runs a casino-like area where the player can attempt to win money or items)
And as for the bosses:
  • Cacturne (First boss. Joins the NPCs afterward)
  • Simisage, Simisear and Simipour (Second boss)
  • Alolan Persian, Purugly and Liepard (Third boss, the equivelant to Team Meanies and Team Skull)
  • Mega Charizard X (Fourth boss. The other Mega Evolutions can be fought as mini-bosses in the dojo after this point)
  • Chi-Yu (Fifth boss)
  • Ting-Lu (Sixth boss)
  • Wo-Chien (Seventh boss)
  • Chien-Pao (Eighth boss)
  • Espeon (Ninth boss - also, the central antagonist of the game, at least the main story)
  • Ultra Necrozma (Final boss of the main story)

Ok so you know those chapters you've been reading? The ol' 20 pages or something? Imagine if each page was a minute long. That's basically the anime post time skip from what I understand

pretty much this yeah

the anime inserts a bunch of filler into every single episode nowadays to pad runtime, which wouldn't be that bad if most of it was nothingburger stuff either

I'm interested in trying out Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.

But I am going with the wait-and-see approach first.

Noipoi Noipoi so I’m considering making a few additions to my Pokémon fighter and making movesets for them too, and while I do have a few ideas in mind, I wanted to consider and prioritize the types I don’t have represented well. I took a tally of the type coverage I have with my current roster:

Normal: 6
Fire: 5
Fighting: 8
Water: 8
Flying: 5
Grass: 7
Poison: 4
Electric: 6
Ground: 2
Psychic: 5
Rock: 3
Ice: 4
Bug: 4
Dragon: 4
Ghost: 7
Dark: 9
Steel: 10
Fairy: 9

Kinda ironic Fighting’s not in the top 3

Well you can never have too many dragons :4wario2:

Also a few more bugs may add both visual and typing variety. Insectoid characters are rare in fighting games period. Maybe throw in another ground type too.

Around that point, the anime tries to stay a year behind the manga in order to avoid overtaking it and having to cram in filler arcs. (which was the sort of thing that killed the Bleach anime temporarily) However, their method of doing that is to stretch each chapter (or less) into a full episode when normally an episode could cover two or three chapters.

There's enough going on in One Piece that there's plenty of material for the anime staff to expand on, but it results in the anime having a really slow pace. You're reading the manga, so that won't be an issue.
