Been pondering on what my all-time favorite songs are.

My all-time favorite song is "The Last Firstborn" by Celldweller, a 7-minute-41-second electronic rock and industrial metal behemoth that has been in my life for YEARS. If you have ANY interest in anything remotely electronic or heavy, listen to it.

Second place goes to "Dakota" by Stereophonics, a post-Britpop masterpiece with powerful nostalgic lyrics and one of the most uplifting yet bittersweet melodies ever composed, and third place being "Ghost Love Score" by Nightwish for being pretty much flawless symphonic metal.

And here's a smattering of other potential contenders for a top favorite list for me:
  • I Love It - Icona Pop, Charli XCX (Made this one obvious before)
  • Just Another Night - Icona Pop
  • Light Me Up - Icona Pop
  • Off of My Mind - Icona Pop, VIZE
  • The City We Call Home - Icona Pop (Can anyone else guess who my favorite artist is?)
  • Closer - Nine Inch Nails
  • We're In This Together - Nine Inch Nails
  • Be Your Everything - Boys Like Girls
  • Crazy Crazy Nights - KISS
  • Lose You to Love Me - Selena Gomez
  • Jason - The Midnight, Nikki Flores (Think Blinding Lights by the Weeknd, but even better)
  • Midnight City - M83 (Why do you think this was my top song on Spotify last year?)
  • Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Elton John, Kiki Dee
  • A Little Piece of Heaven - Avenged Sevenfold
  • If Today Was Your Last Day - Nickelback
  • Super Bass - Nicki Minaj
  • Love Somebody - Maroon 5 (no, that isn't a joke)
  • Lights - Ellie Goulding
  • Keep Holding On - Avril Lavinge
  • Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park
  • Never Say Never - The Fray
  • Reign of Terror - Rhapsody of Fire
  • All I Want - Kodaline
  • Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine
  • Not Afraid - Eminem
  • Drivers' License - Olivia Rodrigo
  • Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division
  • Everything I Wanted - Billie Eilish
And probably some others I'm missing.

The Legends team made the new Prince of Persia I think and it legit looks ****ing phenomemal. Clearly this means Retro Studios will make an equally exciting 2d Metroidvania in the same vein

Bruh I gotta know what the hell is up at Hollywood, how come big superhero movies aren't able to make super speed look this cool when weekly episodes of Kamen Rider can just do this so goddamn well
Kabuto did it better

I feel like Rapidash could have a 3rd Evolution where it grew wings. Probably just make it Fire/Fairy with Levitate. Scolvillain could use a 3 headed evo too.
I always imagined it as a Fire/Fairy with aerialate. It'd be cool to see that ability on a non-flying type, especially since it also gives the moves a small power boost.

Oh, and give Galarian Rapidash an evo too. It deserves something to stand out from the abundance of psychic/fairy types.

I mean, yeah, but that just proves my point, they're able to make it look completely different but still great compared to **** like Flash
Superhero movies tend to have very poor planning VFX-wise, lots of shots constantly being revised until the last minute which means workers waste time on things that get dropped and then end up rushing the final shots. I also think a lot of VFX sequences in Hollywood have rather uninspired storyboarding, and tend to favor realism over stylistic visuals which means more time to render shots to a certain level of acceptability.

Just look at Godzilla Minus One and how good its visuals are for its budget. just don't worry about how exploited Japanese animators are either

I can’t recall any fight involved with The Flash being choreographed well. Not even in the comics.

Has there been one? :217: I also just wanted to post Kabuto

I am living for the critical reappraisal the Trolls movies are getting after the third movie.

They still have their dislikers who accuse the movies of being cashgrabs, corporate or "sOuLlEsS", but there's some content on YouTube actually giving the movies some credit rather than brushing them off as money geysers.

As someone who's always loved the movies, this sparks joy.

(Icona Pop still deserves better than to be relegated to a bit part in that franchise tho)

I don't think I'm going to check out anime all that much this season but Bucchigiri seems pretty fun so far. Professor Pumpkaboo Professor Pumpkaboo , have you seen the first episode? It looks like it might be up your alley.

As much as I am enjoying watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it's doing some damage to my brain.

After watching a few episodes, I'm always stuck reading things in my head the voice of a character from that show- most common are clone troopers or battle droids.

Why is it always memes that alert me that my country has performed an act of war before I notice any real news?

You ever get butt-dialed by someone you were seeing for a while? And you just gotta sit there and listen to their voice while you're still trying to forget them? And now you feel like you gotta start the process all over?

Sick of this ****, you guys. Relationships are poopy stupid. I'm just gonna go back to not talking to anyone ever. :drsad:

Now that I think about it, why do people meme about things such as acts of war and whatnot?

To me it seems like one of many things not to joke about.

Yeah, if anything, (no offense to anyone here, just in case, not talking about people in this forum, anyway) too many people in this world are not too bright.

People are heartless and degenerate. I would assume these types of people also enjoy death/gore content and say things like “this is just normal for me haha :^)”, like that statement should be met with indifference. But I don’t think that type of approach was what I found. The meme was only comparing parallels to what just happened to what happened in Call of Duty’s lore.
