Either way it's probably not as good as the manga but that's a really high bar to clear

There was also a time when there was also a Mighty no. 9 animated series in the works which was rather ambitious considering that the game had not been released.
EDIT: Other than that, Mighty No. 9 had not only proven to be a blow for Kickstarter games, but also to be Keiji Inafune's massive downfall.

Just beat Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed
Another Monolith Banger, This game basically had everything I loved about base Xenoblade 3 but in a neat little package that had me wanting more.
I loved Matthew's crew just as much as the base game and the gameplay was arguably better.

Part of me wants a sequel to Bad Fur Day, but another part of me wants them to finally make and fully conceptualize Twelve Tales.

Bad Fur Day is very much an in the moment kind of game. The novelty of an N64 platformer mascot game with swearing and drinking and boobies and modern references was funny then, because of the state of the gaming industry and pop culture as a whole at the time, but I don't think the game stands on it's own two feet.
It's one of those games that I really think should just be allowed to rest. It came in, did it's job, and that's that. Not everything needs a sequel.

Agree with Noi on this one.
Conker was novel at the time because it was a cutesy platformer mascot in a world ripped out of Banjo Kazooie but LACED with profanity, blood, gore, sex and drinking. Coupled with all the very in the moment relevant movie and pop culture references, it was great.
But nowadays, trying to launch a game like that would just blend into the crowd. There's nothing unique about that concept anymore, and if you tried to recapture what made Bad Fur Day special, you'd just come off as edgy and try hard. You'd basically need to completely overhaul the franchise, and at that point, why even make it a sequel and not its own, stand alone series.
Lightning doesn't strike twice when your game hinges on its identity and not a whole lot else.

Did they censor Battle Network 2? I remember the OG Battle Network 2 on the GBA was more or less a DIRECT translation, which involved a good amount of swearing, racism and.... questionable lines towards questionably aged characters.

I hope we get a Mortal Kombat Legends film on Nightwolf. That would be cool. One of my fav characters in Mortal Kombat alongside Reptile and Scorpion.

Just 100%-ed Kaze and the Wild Masks. The game is great, but above all it just makes you happy to play it. It plays a lot like DKC but you wouldn't know from how it presents itself and the kind of story it has. The character designs are charming and cute, even for the enemies, and it's a really fun 2D platformer with great pixel art. I wish more people talked about this game, I only found out about it because I saw and ad on Facebook for it and I feel like that's a disservice. It's clear a lot of effort and heart went into it and more people should be buying and playing it.
