So here's something I didn't know about Pikmin 2 until today:

Apparently, in the Valley of Repose, there's several large shadows cast over the map. One of them is that of a fully intact power line.

The game already confirmed that the planet is Earth via the globe and man-made treasures and objects among other things, but the fact that there's still a seemingly intact power line, of all things, really makes me wonder just how long humans having seemingly disappeared from the planet. Crazy that even almost two decades after playing the game, I'm still learning new stuff about it like this.

Could possibly not have a dex entry. We already know a lot of Pokemon have home compatibility due to the Day 1 datamine like Lando, the new Regis, Mewtwo etc and none of them are in this leak.


If this leak is "Scrubbed Dex Entries", then that'd imply that these are catchable/obtainable in the DLC itself and not via Home.

Home support is coming 'soon', much sooner than the DLC is, and Oshawott was already confirmed for it. If these are scrubbed Dex entries, then that means they'll be obtainable in the DLC proper and not via HOME transfer.

I wouldn't say that. Pokemon and Mario are content to do their own things without occupying eachother's space much. I never get the impression that Mario is overshadowed by Pokemon in anyway.

And Nintendo certainly doesn't treat Mario like a second fiddle - if anything it's kind of Pokemon they somewhat ignore and leave in the hands of Gamefreak. Probably because they only have partial rights anyway.
