They finally hired this man. Now for another item that will ultimately have no effect on the plot and just look cool lol.

Although the writers said they did have a story for the GS ball, they just never got to doing anything with it.

If it counts for anything I doubt any transphobia was intended, it was played like a standard shapeshifter/illusionist trickster trope but just...weirder.

I'm fine with it, it's definitely weird but I don't think it was meant with I'll intent. It's also something that would be easy to retcon if the character shows up again (I think, I haven't watched the show)

Tbh, with how Area Zero's set up, it almost feels like they never intended you to do co-op there at all? You can't access any online features while in it, etc.

My only gues sis that they disabled it cause on the first time venturing, Arven, Penny, and Nemona all tag along and I would assume that having them + several more people and online communications would break... something.

The real reason is that this is a franchise that has made decisions that nobody has been able to figure out since 1996 and at this point nobody bothers to question it because it's just a franchise staple

Oof, I was looking forward to this but it's probably better to not rush and give it some room when we get superhero movies all the time.

I think it is probably for the best and I get the feeling we could see more of the MCU phase 5 and 6 projects being shifted around to not only to give more space, but to give them enough quality control within its production.

Other than that it seems that Secret Invasion and Loki Season 2 could be the only Disney+ MCU shows to be released this year:

While they can disrespect Hillenburg with 1.000.000 spin-offs, at least Nickelodeon didn't do a crossover special between SpongeBob with another show (no matter if is inside SpongeBob or the SB gang guest appearing in that specific show).
And i don't count The Tidal Zone because it is still in the SpongeBob spectrum, and also not counting the Nicktoons video games nor the Patchy appearance on Big Time Rush because the first were not made for television and the second because a live action character was ok but the animated characters is a triggering alarm for the SpongeBob team.

if Patrick got a movie, then his show wouldn’t be needed. He got the show, Sandy got the movie (both still having SpongeBob as one of the major characters).

I know this for the Sandy movie cause it’s about her and SpongBob saving Bikini Bottom after it’s been kidnapped somehow…and by going to Texas to do so.
