Coming back to the show, not only is Sam such a stagnant character but I’ve come to realize how toxic her “I’m not like the other girls” mindset is. It’s just so ingrained into her character. While it’s not unrealistic for a teenage girl have that mindset in the early 2000’s, I think she should’ve grown out of that as the show went on but she doesn’t because the showrunners agree with her and her toxic views are pretty much fully validated by them.

There’s also quite a few byproducts of her being written by middle aged men including her having no female friends and antagonizing every female character she interacts with, including Danny’s sister who logically she should be on better terms with. Doesn’t help that much every other girl aside from Valerie later on as well as the ones Danny’s family is presented as shallow bullies but she’s not even good friends with her best friend’s cool and mature older sister?

And that’s not even getting into how Danny x Sam is one of the best worst examples of the “Will they, won’t they” bull**** I’ve seen from an episodic series

DLC is possible but if there’s no Zelda direct then I don’t. Think we are getting any. Unless they did a may or June direct and shadow drop’s DLC. Which could happen, but Nintendo usually hypes DLC up in advance.

If it doesn’t get DLC, I wonder if that could be another hint towards a new console next year. Maybe they’ll make DLC to package with a port of the game, that takes full advantage of the specs the console would have. Or
Maybe somehow there’s backwards comparability and we get DLC added when/if a new co sole launches next year.
