A video game movie destroying Mufasa at the box office should send a message to Disney that video game movies are the wave and therefore we need Wreck It Ralph 3
Sadly and unforunately I doubt it will.
Instructions unclear.

Disney will now purchase Nintendo.
As if Japan will even allow that. Lol.

Ima be real

I know I told off Mike about the Sonic vs Mufasa box office war but the truth is that I'm petty, hate Disney with a passion and happy that one of my favorite franchises is now beating it at the box office

Sonic 3 spoilers
I get the idea, showing that this is secretly what he's been like the whole time and was just manipulating Eggman, but I feel that when this twist gets revealed, there's 2 issues. 1: We never learn whether Gerald was a good guy before the tragedy which imo leta it hit less hard. 2: I think they should have had stopped making Gerald do any Jim Carrey hijinx after this twist gets revealed, it showcases just how much he manipulated Eggman and makes the two serve as a contrast in behaivour

I'm surprised you wanna even give it a shot, the open world stuff ended up exhausting me to the point I stopped playing some time after meeting Yuffie. I should fix that
FF7 overrides my aversion.

I’m not gonna love it, but if the combat is like part 1’s, I’ll be fine.

It’s not impressive at all. Quite literally no one had high expectations for this film. It’s like the end of the DCEU, we all gave up long ago.
There weren’t no expectations for Morbius and Madame Web either tbf…and they managed to not look like complete fools compared to Kraven. As for the DCEU, that at least spent 2019-2023 putting up a fight (even tho that confidence kinda ****ed Blue Beetle over)

Fun fact about my Sonic 3 viewing experience

I was sat right next to a blind guy who had a headset on that described the events of the movie to him. Really cool technology, didn’t even know they had that.

The issue is that it was a little faster than the actual movie, and his headset was just loud enough that I could hear it. I felt like an asshole for thinking it, but I thought to myself “Is this blind guy gonna ruin the whole movie for me?”

Luckily that didn’t happen. A good time was had by all :nifty:

When Shadow at the end of the movie went

“We saved the day, I feel a song coming up Sonic!”

Sonic: “Lets take this party underground”

Knuckles: “do you know da way?”

Tails: “I guess we really are Sonic heroes!”

Sonic: “You really do live and learn!”

Moms when they see another Christmas movie where the small town girl breaks up with her trillionare boyfriend to marry her high school sweetheart (he runs a coffee shop) (also, how dare she leave her small town for grander adventures)
I Need a hallmark movie that plays out exactly like the rest till the end when the new guy tries to get together with her and there’s just a needle drop.

Then she starts laughing and going on about how insane this guy must be and the whole movie crumbles from there as she returns home to her husband who was baiting his ass off at work to try to pull off something crazy for her for Christmas.

I could have sworn there were rumors a few months back that they were actually making a third one, but I can’t find anything. There’s still potential for it, as long as the writers are people who grew up way more in modern day than the previous ones.

Anyone ever wondered why Nintendo has so many bounty hunters in its roster of characters?
Easy motivation I suppose. In the case of Samus I wouldn't be surprised if she was also partly inspired by the popularity of Boba Fett.

Although I can't think of any other bounty hunters outside of Metroid characters. Fox and Wolf, I suppose? Even though I've always heard them referred to as mercenaries.

Once I realized that Sonic 3’s Big Arm boss is an attachment to the top of the normal egg mobile, I became fixated on the idea of attaching the Big Arm attachment to SA2’s egg walker to create a fighting mech for the doctor to use in fighting games, be them Sonic fighting games or a Smash appearance.

Is this not as good an idea as I think it is?
Unfortunately I had that exact idea when I made a Sonic fighting game roster a while back so I can't call you cringe for it

Idk, I adore FF7 and it's cast but Rebirth was so draining, I'd outright say you like open world games if you enjoy it all beginning to end. It sounds like you'd get a kick out of Dynamic difficulty though

iirc there's a misconception at Nintendo, they thought bounty hunters were just cool wanderers going on space adventures and freaked it when Retro wanted to make Samus hunt bounties in Prime 3

Oh yeah, I forgot F-Zero existed.

That's not a real Nintendo property in my head. Actually on that note I'd probably make a great Nintendo employee, I should probably go apply.

Nintendo now only has no more than 100 days to officially reveal the Switch 2.
2025 will certainly be the year when we will all eventually find out when the Switch 2 will be revealed.

In addition, I think 2025 will certainly be another interesting year for fighting games in which by then, Mai and Elena will be playable for Street Fighter 6's second season pass (as well as likely to confirm a third season pass), Tekken 8 will likely reveal their second season pass contents, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will also be released by then as well as getting further new information on SEGA's new Virtua Fighter project.

I Feel a Dr. Eggman in Smash would work like Bowser Jr, where he's in the Eggmobile (probably Egg Walker) the whole match but his moveset ia just a composite of all the boss fights and hazards that revolve around the Eggmobile.

Like his down air would be the wrecking ball from Sonic 1, Side B would be the drill car from 2, Hover as Up B, etc etc.

I beat Shadow Gens.

That final boss is a great example of how you do a Frontier-style spectacle boss fight that's still challenging and designed like an actual video game boss.

Also that ending got me ngl, like I said before I haven't played most Sonic games and I know most of the lore and story from wiki browsing in my youth, so the fact that this still affected me to this extent is a credit to the VAs' talents and Ian Flynn's writing

One thing I like about the final boss is that although I don't know how you're meant to do it, you can whack him with a Doom Blast. Just a little extra thing that some players might not get to see is fun, especially after I beat the no hit run for Time Eater who seems to rely on RNG more than skill

I don't think I'm gonna try for an S rank against Devil Doom or get the no damage achievement, at least not at this time. It's just too hard for me. I will try getting all of the collectibles and apparently there are some extra challenges I haven't done yet so I will go for these as well but after that I'm pretty much done.

Also, as someone who's played a fair amount of Sonic games this year, is it an unpopular opinion to say that Modern Sonic bosses are like, significantly better than the classic style?

Adam talks about getting paid for the mission in dread so maybe that
