Finally got Dream Team's Shadow update.

The controls for his abilities are weird since they didn't want to map them onto new buttons but it works. I kinda wish Chaos Shift was in Shadow Generations, it's basically a better Doom Blast because you can do it anywhere without needing that weird black arms guy to be there. You can't throw Chaos Spears but the ability isn't really missed because of what they have you do in these levels. I wonder if Shadow is going to be able to do the light speed dash like Sonic and Amy once I unlock him for the campaign mode.

Solid content addition to a solid game. Makes me hope they'll eventually add more characters to the lineup.

Splatoon 3 was my most played game this year. Freedom Planet 2 has been my favorite game of this year since April though Spark the Electric Jester 3 was a close second. My favorite game that was actually released this year was Shadow Generations. My most played games by month are:
Master Detective Archives: Rain Code in January
Splatoon 3 in February, March, and July
Freedom Plaent 2 in April and May
Metroid 2: Return of Samus on the Game Boy Online app in June
Densetsu no Stafy on the Game Boy Advance Online app in Augest
Ace Attorney Investigations Collection in September
Castlevania Dominus Collection in October
Phantasy Star IV on the SEGA Genesis Online app in November
Blaster Master Zero 3 in December (though it's not listed)

I played Fortnite.

I did better than I expected, but I didn’t feel like I could build and fight at the same time with these controls lol, kinda wish you could use the 2 mouse buttons and scroll wheel for everything besides movement like in Minecraft. I’m sure I can edit the controls to be much better for me, at least. Seems you can use extra 4th and 5th mouse buttons my mouse has on its left side I think, but I can’t press them easy enough xD

Also the Plungerman character looks really cool tbh, and there’s a cool Lego version of him, but since I’m a newb who didn’t save up VBucks I’d have to pay about $23 if I want him xD (which I do tbh, but I want Hatsune Miku my beloved infinitely more and idk how much I want to spend on Fortnite cosmetics).

They way that there is another TF2 and Tomboyish Girl in Love crossover...

(Another fun fact, the creator of Bonkumiru is one of the founders of the Vtuber organization VShojo, which I find really funny)

I don't know how TF2 and Touhou fans became kindred spirits, but I love it so much, I was really into both at one point because of their frequent crossovers.
