Well, I mean both critics and audiences do have different perspectives when it comes to reviews for films.

Critics tend to look more in to the quality aspects whilst audiences tend to focus more on the entertainment value.

Sometimes you may agree and sometimes you may not. But at the end of the day, it is usually better to go and form your own opinion to judge whether a film/tv show is good or not.

Let's be real, this movie was never gonna be a hit with critics. The last two movies weren't. Critics hold films to different standards than general audiences and hardcore Sonic fans.

I'm gonna watch it anyway cause the critics' opinions are just opinions, and also because there was no way I wasn't going to watch it
I mean the movie's critics reviews aren't that bad anyway, and a lot better then the first two movies. Sonic 2 had a 47 on Metacritic, this has a 62 atm. Obviously reviews aren't the be-all-end-all, as fans would watch this anyway, but it's nice to see that the critics are more positive on this one.

critics hate fun which is why they didnt really like the Mario movie... or why they dont like Nintendo games

Super disappointed that my Nintendo year in review doesn't work

I think it is because I played my Switch almost entirely in airplane mode this year because of some internet problems (If I connected to my Campuses Wi-fi, my Switch would crash.), but even then I still played a lot of Splatoon, Omori and Paper Mario on Wi-fi.

On Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite, I do recall that it certainly had several rough moments in terms of the character roster choices (even though the newcomers from Captain Marvel, X, Monster Hunter etc are welcome additions) especially with their reasoning to the X-Men's omission.

Other than that, I still strongly feel that there will eventually bring a new Marvel Vs Capcom game within the future,

this is one of the reasons I just don't care about movie critics.

Critique should be a private thing given to creatives to help improve their craft. Not a commercialized industry which can sway people's opinions away from something they might like.

Yeah **** critics who criticise new things

There should be a critic who only looks at old things. Like a critic who specializes in nostalgia...

I mean everyone's a critic in their own right. Since the dawn of time, word of mouth has been a thing.

Now on the topic of professional critics, to me they're helpful. Movies are expensive so I will be very selective on which ones I watch, and critics can and have swayed me with very informed opinions.

I regret bringing this up

All I'm saying is people should form their own opinions on stuff. Critics aren't wrong for not loving the movie and they shouldn't be the only metric people judge a movie by.

And if you actually wanna make an informed decision based on reviews you should look at what people actually SAY about the movies, not go "big number good small number bad"

We talk about how Totally Spies had some...interesting content.

But one thing I think we forget between all of..."that" is that there was a villain on the show who turned people into furries...SO SHE COULD SKIN THEM ALIVE and sell them as fur coats. And that's not even getting into her later appearance where she designed clothes that painfully CRUSH PEOPLE ALIVE.

Apparently this show has four modes: adorable, cool, 'interesting' and OHGODWHATTHEHECK

"One of the members" he's the guy who sang the damn song
Yeah, I know. I just had to say it that way for some reason. I probably wasn't thinking about the singing part, even though I knew that.

But yeah, this IS worrying. We could lose an iconic song known to be a part of Sonic's history if things don't go well.

I don't think anything like that is gonna happen. Best case scenario Sega gives Johnny his well deserved royalties, he's right to sue them over it

Healthy gaming habits? Never heard of em.

Though I've actually been playing my Switch a lot less since I got my gaming PC. I still have some Switch games I wanna finish before the Switch 2 rolls around but I'm in no rush

Y'all need to get a job.

Deprrssion a *****, I stopped doing the things I loved and I haven't really gotten back into it.
Maybe this is my mental illness but I like to imagine my fav anime or Video Game character going " you need to wake up and do something" to get me to do things

Shout outs to you, Yosuke Hanamura, for telling me to get up in the morning
