Like... Pac-Man...I dunno, if someone can make a mascot platformer that's also an HD 4K dark fantasy/sci-fi cinematic experience they might have a chance.

I do. I play beat em ups, hack and slashes, racing games, rhythm games. I really liked Powerwash Simulator and Cuphead. Turn based RPGs can be fun too, depending on the other aspects of the game.I think you need to play more types of games
There is no mascot platformer in Ba Sing Se.There will never be a mascot platformer announcement at the game awards
The problem with the current games industry everybody.I dunno, if someone can make a mascot platformer that's also an HD 4K dark fantasy/sci-fi cinematic experience they might have a chance.
That one did look interesting. Though I don’t think we actually saw enough of it to say what kind of game it is.Like... Pac-Man...
Yeah this whole thing kinda reminded me that Bamco will do literally everything except make Pac-Man World 4.Like... Pac-Man...
I remember that Hubworld direct from a bit ago. Really fun. I don’t think there’s been another one since though.I mean Mascot Platformers usually have their own events dedicated to them. It allows them to have the spotlight all to themselves (aka not have them compete with the big bad cinematic AAAs), and companies don't have to shell out money to Geoff. There's really no reason to have them at TGAs unless they're 100% confident they can out muscle CD Project Red's or Naughty Dog's GOTY attempts (and no company thinks they can do that aside from like Nintendo cause Mario is generational).
But I do remember there was a mascot platformer announcement at TGAs a while back.
It was Cranky in Tropical Freeze

True it’s not PAC-Man but was advertised as a reimagining of PAC-Man.Calling it a new Pac-Man game is a bit of a stretch.
I mean yeah it is but like.
That's not Pac-Man.
I mean it is but you know what I mean.
But it looks fun.
well a stretch is the wrong word but it's not what you think when it comes to Pac-Man
Because he sounds bored as **** saying it.Why did no one tell me we have an official clip of Keanu saying "Chaos Control" now???
IS IT SORA- oh...So with the new Astro Bot level we finally have a Square Enix character. It's Gex.

"This is what we call the GAME AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRDS!"I think the lesson we can all take away is that if all the muppets hosted the game awards, it would be 1000 times better.
A sequel to Okami was a nice surprise as well as the new Onimusha game. However, I guess the wait for Pragmata continues on.Right so this is what I'm getting from the Game Awards talk:
And that's it
- Okami 3
I wonder how much companies pay Geoff to have their media advertised like that.
Nintendo always likes to control how an event is ran and how their products are shown. It’s why they left E3 and rarely show up to other events.Real question is why do Nintendo pay for ad spots every year and then not show anything at the show?
that’s actually huge news. I loved Turok on N64Turok getting a new game is pretty crazy ngl
not at all. It made giga money and is one of Sony’s highest selling titles of all time. This last of us **** is a parody at this point
it’s always been a joke. The reveals truly the only reason why people watch it.Geez, it sounds like The Game Awards has become more of a joke. What the heck is wrong with that show?!
Nintendo already stated the reveal will be before April 2025 and that the release is likely November 2025I’m guessing Nintendo is waiting until 2025 to get last minute holiday sales.
I wonder though… when in 2025? It has to be before April as stated previously.
In response to your reply to what I said, I did say it was more of a joke now, did I? That should imply that The Game Awards has gotten worse some. It’s hilarious seeing each new generation of gamers fall for Half-life 3 “leaks” and “rumors”
Prices start at €57,500 for a 30 second spot at Geoff Keighley's Gamescom Opening Night Live ceremony

Yeah. I miss the all stars.I think the new VF and Clive in Tekken 8 was my favorite announcements.
New Sonic racing could be fun but I'd prefer a SEGA crossover rather than a "Sonic goes to multiverse" kind of game.
