Hey remember. No one is perfect is this world and there's plenty of people who did things in the past they were not proud of. I'm one of those people, I was a terrible person ten years ago and look where I am now.

Yeah I'm still a noob given the immaturity I cause here sometimes but I'm much better where I am than I was a decade ago. I look back and shake my head at who I was.

Yeah the MercurySteam games aren't too bad, although doing it in Samus Returns is kinda annoying since you have to wait until the very end of the game to collect everything.

I want to try doing it in Zero Mission at least once but a lot of those Shinesparks drive me up the ****ing wall with how hard they are lmao.

Thanks Gwen and Michael.

Yeah, the fact we all can look at the past and see what we did wrong, It does show that we all have improved a lot as people.

And yeah, I need to learn to love myself more.

I think I did Zero Mission once. It was my first Metroid game and it forever tainted the way I see 100% completion in Metroid games

I really don't think I can add much that hasn't already been said but just know that you are loved and stay strong. Nobody wants you to hurt yourself.

Ngl, as much as I enjoy to speedrun Metroid games, I always try to take my time the first two times I play any of the titles, and then after that I slowly try to practice to beat them as fast as I can for the bonus.

I believe that way I don't stress myself too much and get to enjoy the games on their entirety.

To be fair, I'm fairly certain it's been stated somewhere that Retro actually wanted to use K. Rool and the Kremlings for the game that became Tropical Freeze, but after seeing all the fan support for the former for a playable role in an SSB game including the ballot, Sakurai essentially got the first call on getting to reintroduce him after his decade-long absence from...literally any Nintendo video game, not counting cameos.

I'd love to see Retro tackle a third DKC game and bring K. Rool and the Kremlings back to the series proper with that one.

If I were Nintendo I would release a Super Mario RPG-style remake of Donkey Kong Country 1. Mostly translating all the sprites into 3D, adding some QoL features if needed and sell It on the eShop for 40 bucks with a physical release later as with Metroid Prime and Pikmin 1+2.

That way they would have some idea of how well a Classic-styled DKC game would perform sales wise.

Updating a certain Minus One headcanon of mine.

Given the novelization even reveals he had the regeneration before being mutated. I'm of the opinion that Godzillasaurus is a dragon (yokai) in other words supernatural. Because no natural organism could evolve such regeneration, its the only explanation.

Making him such would also be a good way to tying more into Japanese folklore such as King Ghidorah being an offspring of the Yamata-no-Orochi that resides in a cave worshipped by a village cult similar to Iris in Gamera 3.

I mean I feel like TF's sales already give them an idea. I also don't think it would really be representative of a DKC remake's value on the market since the trilogy is already on NSO. I guess I wouldn't say no to it, given how dire it is for DKC right now, but...

I was the kind of kid who obsessedly read the manual of whatever game I was playing so even if I did make it this far I probably wouldn't struggle, but as a kid, I struggled so goddamn much with Quartz Quadrant that I was amazed at how easy that boss was when I finally got around to playing CD again like 7 years later.

Also you struggle with Hydro City? How come?

EDIT: Wait it was Wacky Workbench, not Quartz Quadrant

Fair but the bubble shield and top routes help, I always found Sonic 3 Hydro City the kind of water stage Sonic games should strive to be, Superstars being the only better one

Currently at the birthday party of my cousine's daughter. Since she is turning 5 they had a surprise princess appear. The party is Little Mermaid-themed, so of course she was Ariel. My crush and I took a photo with her:

Ariel is currently doing make up with the kids, It is quite cute.

As for me... Feeling kinda anxious ngl. Mostly because the kids are overwhelmed by the amount of people in the party (a lot of family members basically) and they are being extremely shy as such. I know It isn't my fault at all and that I should relax myself... But yeah, since I went to the party excited to share with them the videogames and LEGO stuff I brought to have fun with them... It feels kinda dissapointing that they don't want to check It all out.
I'll get better doh, my crush is currently helping me relax and trying her best to cheer me up. She's a very wonderful and caring person and I admire her for that.
