Once you have the game in your hand, that's it really. You 'have' it, but the ride up to the release, with all the reveal trailers, the sense of community.... the leaks and speculation.... maybe not that last part...


That's what makes it fun.

Well, the hype, speculation and community are certainly part of it, but another big part of it are just the games themselves and the community then as well.

People just tend to either move on from the games or play them less for a while after several months to a few years after it's release, and more so once all of the latest game's DLC is released.
