This may be a hot take but I kinda hope they give them all different actors. It may not be the most demanding of roles but idk if they can find someone who can voice all of them the way Martinet did

I am amazed Charles voiced Mario for 32 years about. It is kind of a surprise that he is stepping down, hope he will have a good next adventure.
Personally I think the Precure series, Mucha Lucha, and Oshi no Ko for me .

It was definitely noticable in Odyssey, may have beem voice direction but he sounded significantly different than he did in 3D World. He did sound good in LM3 and the Movie, but yeah high pitched characters nearing 70 is gonna take a toll on the throat. Look at Julie Kavner and Marge Simpson, lady is 72 still doing the voice but damn does it sound like her cords are shredded in the modern seasons

Honestly probably a role made just to pay him royalties and keep his input on the characterization of Mario.
maybe He will also get to travel and speak on the company’s behalf about his experiencing voicing these characters

Paper Mario is the biggest one for me. Nintendo can **** om the sidewalk and slap Paper Mario on it and I will be there no matter what.
Pokemon, Mario Kart, and Smash are all up there, so many friendships and memories made from those three alone. MHA is there for sure, it's not my favorite but it got me into anime so I forever have a soft spot for it.
Lately, I've been obsessed with Kingdom Hearts.

Feeling really ambivalant about Fire Emblem these days. 3 Houses really gave me a lot of faith in the franchises future only for Engage to sour me to it again.
