Oh it did, it's just my theater is a bit of an outlier. Flash is still mildly popular here, but it's mostly parents with their kids seeing it.

Edit: I should note that there was a significant drop from opening weekend to now. I should also note that only one theater is playong The Flash so it seems more busy than it actually is

I could only like around 15 posts on twitter before I was put in read only mode, I couldn’t like, retweet, bookmark OR post. Took an hour later for me to hit the read rate limit again

you know… it’s kinda bittersweet. I grew up seeing the transition from Web 1.0 to 2.0. If you remember like Geocities or Angelfire you’re a real one. Heck, this site here is one of the few dedicated forums around today I think. I saw sites be born and die (Vine for one) yeah I’m waxing poetic about this but… I guess I got confident that most “social media” sites would last forever. Even Google and Internet Archive aren’t that trustworthy anymore.

for twitter in particular; on the plus side less time there is good for my mental health. On the minus side… I won’t be kept up to date on topics of interest. I can’t promote my content as easily anymore; Tumblr doesn’t have the same reach.

I guess also… it kinda feels like the burning of the library of Alexandria. If it dies completely, there’s a lot of content, a lot of news, info you can’t find anywhere else just gone…

it’s just bittersweet. I’d be both relieved and sad.

oh and it begs the question where are COMPANIES gonna share info now like if Nintendo had a direct planned, where would they share it? Well I guess there is Facebook and Instagram, but…

and I refuse to post any like Switch screenshots to Facebook. Kinda insignificant ramble but I hope the Switch successor replaces sharing to Twitter with sharing to Instagram cuz I don’t even think Twitter will be around by next year.

IMO it's not just Twitter being locked down like this that feels like a Library of Alexandria situation, but also various subreddits being closed down in protest of the site's new API, and various information being hidden in Discord servers that you have to fully join, you can't lurk around like forums which might have your answer to "why is my printer only printing one page".

In fact, as much as we joke about Reddit. Googling "how do I blablabla reddit" was actually extremely useful for finding answers to anything:

EXACTLY! There’s for example some info on some video games I currently can only find on Reddit. This would be if like GameFAQs died

people used to use their own personal sites like even an official site for a show, movie, video game that had all kinds of info, Q&A, and ditched it for social media which as we all can see went so money hungry that they ruined the functionality of their sites or added features everyone hated (like the AI thing for DeviantArt)

The only non dragon ball anime games that I can think of that are any good is the One Piece Pirate Warriors series and Super Robot Wars.

Since it's been like 5 months since they announced the Pokemon TCG for Switch and it's still not here, I just decided to play it through other means and



wow this game is easy.


Hitmonchan is easily one of the best Pokemon in the game and other trainer cards like Bill, Gust of Wind, Energy Removal, Computer Search and Professor Oak are ungodly unbalanced.

NES/SNES/Genesis and somewhat N64 don't need this anymore but Game Boy (Advance) waiting like this is inexcusable.
