How bout we change things up a bit regarding animals.

Like prehistoric and mythical.

For me prehistoric would be acrocanthosaurus, and saber-toothed cats.

Mythical for me would be the akhlut, bunyip, dragon, grootslang, and kushtaka.
Prehistoric creatures in general are pretty awesome. Dinosaurs (and pterosaurs, plesiosaurs, mosasaurs, etc) are a duh, I do tend to like Theropods the most, which includes Tyrannosaurs, Dromeosaurs and Therizinosaurs; but I also like ancient synapsids, especially Gorgonopsids. Placoderms are both badass and bizarre, from Dunkleosteus to the strange Bothriolepis.

Dragons....Big fan of Dragons! Gryphons are cool as well. The Children of Loki, I already established that I love wolves so Fenrir being no surprise, in addition to Jormungander and Hel. I also like a lot of cryptids and yo-kai. I've also been a fan of the biblical legends of the Behemoth and Leviathan.

I adore birds as a whole but Corvids, specifically Ravens, in particular would be my favourites. Their intelligence is unreal. In addition I love birbs of prey. Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Vultures, etc.
I still remember when a teacher of mine shown me this video in class, I was so impressed that I gained a huge respect for ravens.

U make moth sad

must pay for heresy
I actually have severe moth phobia, so yeah, maybe not the best thing to reply to me with a moth image. Like, fictional, cartoony ones are fine, like Pokemon, but other than that, I really can't stand them.

The only reason I don’t count dragons as my favorite animal is cuz they’re not real.

But they’re real in my heart.

I got brave these past weeks and I decided to go to college today.

Didn't go that bad. I interacted with most of my partners and It was all cool, someone said they were surprised I was 20 as they thought I was 18 (which I found as a compliment), the classes passed by really fine, I ate an apple and of course I ignored that one girl I fear for most of the day. One of the college partners I talked with yesterday also spent a good chunk of the day talking with me (the other one is with the people of English-french).

So yeah, not a bad beginning of a semester.

OK? But certainly not when it's not asked for and coming out of nowhere. Not gonna lie, you're coming of as kind of inconsiderate, first shoving an animal I despise in my face and now talking like this, without even saying as much as a simple "sorry".

I tend to gravitate towards the ancient life of the sea, so creatures like the Dunkleosteus, Plesiosaurs, Ichthyosaurs, and Anomalocarids are high on my list. I also like the Apatosaurus and Saber-Toothed cats as those two animals is what got me into paleontology to begin with, and the Archaeopteryx for similar reasons since as a kid it shown me how evolution played a role in the cycle of life on earth from the past to the present.

In terms of Mythical beings, Dragons are definitely number one. It's amazing to me how across many ancient cultures we came up with different ideas for mythical reptiles, and seeing how they can differ from Medieval interpretations, to Chinese, to Norse and so on is very interesting. I also like Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, and the Flatwoods Monster in terms of cryptids, and Typhon, Scylla and Charybdis, Apep, the Children of Loki, Cerberus, Phoenix, and the Four Symbols (+The Yellow Dragon).

I really don't feel like dealing with this tonight, so I'm just gonna leave for now. It's late already anyway.

If it fascinates you guys as well. The New World (Americas) has dragons of its own.

The Piasa Bird

Amhuluk (This is even one of the 17 titans and counting in the MonsterVerse as shown in King of the Monsters)

Gaasyendietha

To name a few. Not sure if I'd count Quetzalcoatl (Also among 17 titans and counting in the MonsterVerse) a dragon, seems more like a serpent/snake then anything. Would serpents be considered dragons?

But yeah dragons weren't just limited to the Old World when it comes to cultures and myths.

Evening to the forums. How is all of yous? I could write something more clever but can't be bothered.

I'm off now, just gotta wait until my brother gets off in about 25 minutes here so we can both ride back home.

How is everyone today?
Listening to The Who and The Clash for music today for a nice change from anime OPs. Went out to get some fish, playing Red Dead and Wipeout Omega Collection.

Another day, another dollar.

Jury is out on that one honestly least in my experience. I've a phobia of frogs and tried that, just made it worse. As for why I have such phobia, it's complicated.

Depends on the person.

I got brave these past weeks and I decided to go to college today.
Huh? You haven't been to college recently? I'm guessing you just wanting to keep to virtual learning or was it personal reasons?

I'm alive. For the time being. Such things change at the passing of every second.

Anyways, I purchased a large amount of groceries. I got this storm covered. Just gonna hunker down and weather it.

You could argue Quetzalcoatl is a dragon. The definition of them typically gets narrowed down to something that is a large mythological reptile, and the term is derived from a Latin and Greek word meaning 'huge serpent', which he would fit that description. He also wouldn't out of place as those like Apep, Jormungandr, and Ladon have also been considered dragons despite being large serpents as well.

Wish Australia had its own dragons. Australia being Australia can't only imagine how dangerous such dragons like those would be.

Edit: Wait nevermind since serpents pretty much count then they do have their own dragons notably the Rainbow Serpent.

I like a bunch of different animals, so not sure what would be my favorite. I really like marine life, dogs, cats, pigs, birds (notably corvids and other birds that can mimic, as well as penguins, but still birds in general), rodents and some others. Beavers, bears, wolves and other wildlife are cool and cute too; of course, bears and such aren't safe to be around... My favorite marine animals are probably the manta ray, starfish, sponge, clownfish and shark. Maybe hermit crabs, too.

I like most animals in general, though. I can't really think of one I dislike, though I've learned stuff about dolphins that would make me wary around them; at least some dolphins are good, though...dolphins are probably a favorite too however, aside from those certain ones, as well as orcas and maybe pufferfish idk I like too many.

I also like bugs and spiders, I think they're cool, though for bugs it's mainly bees, ants, butterflies/moths, and a few others; mostly bees. Roaches and bed bugs suck (Wall-E's roach is cool though).

It's funny though because I don't actually like being around bugs and spiders; I'm scared of them. I'm not sure if I have any real phobia, as I can stay in the same room as them and try to ignore them (though flies and roaches and such really annoy me, and kinda scare me if they get on me or close), but y'know. I guess I just sometimes look at stuff about them or whatever online; some look kinda cute at least, like bumble bees and that white fluffy moth, and in games bugs and spiders are pretty cool. But in real life, I get anxious and freaked out somewhat...

Regarding the phobia part, though, there's a Minecraft mod called Alex's Mobs that adds a bunch of cool mobs to the game; there's an annoying one it adds, however, which spawns in Crimson Forests in the Nether: a big mosquito that latches onto you, sucks your blood, then shoots the blood back at you to hurt you even more than it already did. So far, this one not only annoyed me especially with how there can be more than one latching onto you, but actually freaked me out a little, I guess because of how it was modeled a bit realistically (still blocky and low-res textures though, but it has more blocks making up its body than the usual mob)...

Finished the first season of Overlord. It got a bit better towards the end but I still think the whole thing was mostly just "okay". Not really sure why it's such a highly rated show from what I've seen so far.

And I'm a couple of episodes into the second season and they're dumping new characters on me left and right when it's already having problems developing the main cast.
