Pretty sure the Whispers are still very much around. I wasn't alluding to the new JENOVA.
We kill the big bad boss Whisper. That was the whole point of that whole "now we have freedom" stuff. Now they can defy their destinies.

And even if they are still around, need I remind you that their whole purpose is to keep things the same as the original game.

Right, you said it yourself. "To keep it the same as the regular game", but also "Now we have freedom". Something tells me the game's going to push a "break free of your destiny" narrative, but what do I know, I can't tell a Emerald Weapon from a Tonberry.

I still can't imagine them changing much more accept from what I outlined. A: It's Final Fantasy VII. Come on. B: I can't imagine them making part one the way they did if they were gonna star majorly deviating in part 2 and beyond. And C: Because so far there haven't been any major deviations, there really isn't any other place the story can go besides in the same direction as the original. We might take a slightly different path, but we're gonna end up in the same place.

That scene is the gaming equivalent of Darth Vader being Luke's father, is it really something that needs the spoiler tag?
I have met plenty of people who don't know about it. Always better to be cautious than not.

I still want a Nick Smash-style game.

Also Nintendo vs. Capcom, Darkstalkers 4, a TMNT fighting game with a large roster of characters from all versions, and a ArcSys Godzilla fighting game.

Make them happen!

I want more RPGs remade in the style of the Seven Remake. Nocturne would be a perfect candidate for that.

Also, Final Fantasy VI remake in the same style. I think people would really like that.
Nocturne is like the worst candidate for a Remake-style game because it has over 180 playable characters.

MegaTen has action RPGs like Raidou Kuzunoha and recently P5S but they limit you to a small playable roster (a single one in the case of former) and make demons/Personas only show up as enemies or skill assists.

This is one of the coolest areas I've found in minecraft. It's got a desert with a village, a savanna, and of all things - Glacier biome. Whatever it's called. Packed and blue ice.

got bored and also rerererererererererefinished TMNT 2012 season 1, so I decided to see which of the main characters who were or ended up becoming protagonists had the most episodes about them (be it singular or with 1 other person...twas the limit)...and despite nobody reading this...imma do it anyways

Leo: 20 episodes
Donnie: 21 episodes
Raph: 19 episodes
Mikey: 19 episodes
April: 9 episodes (and most of her other appearances were important for the Kraang side of the series)
Casey: 8 episodes
Splinter: 13 episodes
Karai: 13 episodes (most of her other appearances were important for the main Shredder plot)
Bebop & Rocksteady: 9 episodes
Casey got done dirty in this series. Most of his episodes were paired with someone else
also Raph and Donnie are the only characters in the entire series to show up in ever single episode. Leo missed 2 and Mikey missed 1

I was scrolling through the Doordash App when I found a local place called "Super Smash Burgers". This deeply amuses me.

I might have to eat there sometime. Maybe I'll check it out in person tomorrow and see what the building looks like.

So I came up with a new custom gamemode for Smash! It's a bit like a raid battle of sorts, here's the ropes;
  • No Items
  • Spirits on
  • 1-stock Stamina matches, 200HP for everybody
  • Omega Stages Only
  • 3 VS. 1
  • Create a spirit team with Full-Armor X and any special-enhancing Spirit, then give it to the lone fighter. The team of 3 doesn't get any spirits.
  • Choose your fighter, then, if playing alone, set your teammates to randoms. Make sure the lone opponent is a bad guy.
  • For best effect, play on a stage, as well as a song, that can be associated with whichever villain your fighting.
Bowser: Final Destination w/ Giga Bowser
Bowser Jr.: Rainbow Cruise w/ Airship Theme
King K. Rool: Jungle Japes w/ Crocodile Cacophony
Ganondorf: Hyrule Castle w/ Calamity Ganon Phase 2
Ridley: Norfair w/ Vs. Ridley (any Rendition will do)
King Dedede: Fountain of Dreams w/ Gourmet Race (Melee)
Wolf: Venom W/ Star Wolf (ditto from Ridley)
Sephiroth: Northern Cave w/ One-Winged Angel (AC version also applicable)
If you'd like to try with morally ambiguous characters like Mewtwo, Dark Pit, Wario, or others, feel free to experiment with whichever stages and songs you think would suit them best.

I'm not very good at texting because I have a hard time communicating with people if I can't see their emotions and reactions. So I googled "Bad at texting" and it's pages about how bad texters are just people that don't care about you. Like, what? Really?

Do you guys ever think about how the concept of zombies is as old as the ancient Akkadians?

I'm working on a roster for a Final Fantasy fighting game. I took some inspiration from the already existing Dissidia, but I've still got some slots left to fill. Who do you guys think NEEDS to be on there?
I think Dissidia and even the Theatrhythm games had it down pat going for protags, antags and secondary protags. Then just choose whatever other popular characters and spin off reps you want.

Otherwise, you need the one, the only, mighty morphin Gilgamesh!

Still, Smash even references that spoiler. Sephiroth's down air is based on it, as is one moment from the trailer.

FF material references it. Wreck-it Ralph references it. Numerous other things reference it and yet without context it still goes unnoticed by many people. I saw people reacting to Sephiroth in Smash still not getting the reference.

Worst thing that will happen if we don't err on the side of caution is people get spoiled. Worst thing that happens if we do act considerately is we spend an extra second adding spoiler tags.
