A lot of people are gonna have high expectations for gen 9, and I don’t blame them, but for me I really just need to see three things.
We're getting the first two no doubt, considering the Wild Area is something they really want to pound in lately, and it doesn't feel like a Gimmick that comes and goes like Dynamax, which they just gave up halfway through the generation.
Those are already way high expectations
Definitely not seeing gen 9 till next year.
Or Gen 8 DLC 3.

Now, if they do Gen 4 remakes this year, and then the following year we get DLC for that, then yeah, we could see Gen 9 in 2023.

Kind of my thoughts. I enjoyed my Let's Go playthough a lot more than my SwSh playthough. Easily the best version of Kanto and a fantastic OST.
I mean yeah. And I would love to make games. But it's also like... not as special? Like... if you make a game yourself, you know everything about it already ya know? There's no discovery, there's no fresh experience.
Demi-fiend is the most logical choice.
The special experience comes from creating it and imagining the joy on people's faces as they experience it for the first time.
This is why I wanna put as much dumb **** in my game as possible.
The discovery's in the creative process. The entire development is your fresh experience of that game. Sure you may not be able to 'play' the game from a fresh perspective and developing video games is a different journey compared to actually playing them but that doesn't make it any less rewarding.

Speed Weed
I think it deserves to be added into Smash by this point.
Of course its not the same. YOU are the creative drive behind the project. It is YOUR world, everyone else is just a guest.
I mean like... I wanna know if people actually play the games they make themselves beyond like... play testing. Because unless it’s a rogue like... I just can’t see a game I made myself getting on to my all time favorites list or becoming one of my happy places, no matter the quality. I don’t think I could get the kind of experience I want out of a game I made myself.
Let's Go was cute and all but it was as barebones as Pokemon gets. It was just Red/Blue again but with motion controls no somehow even less content then the previous Kanto remakes.
Yeah, Ive put many hours into games I've made. It's normal.
I don’t know. I just... don’t know. It doesn’t make sense to me to craft, say, a platformer, and then be able to get any enjoyment out of it myself. I already know how to do everything and I am obviously skilled enough to get through it. I know the story already too so... why would I play it?
You make a game (or anything really) for the joy of creation, and for others to play it. The enjoyment comes from bringing something new, something of your own into the world and watching people enjoy it. Ya numpty.
Well then the common sentiment of “if you don’t like the games that are coming out then make them yourself” is kind of void then isn’t it.

Was thinking about your SEGA Racing game, and I had a thought. Why not have Axel and Blaze share a kart instead of having just Blaze?
I probably shouldn't be answering this since I've only played P4G and P5R, but I'll answer anyway. I think Yu Narukami and Goro Akechi would be pretty cool Smash fighters. I also think Yosuke Hanamura would be a great Joker echo.
