After many attempts, I finally got a good Mace design down. Those are all three in order of creation. The first one kind of had a decent idea(though may make for a good ball & chain design). Second one further looks a bit better. Third one fixed it up to feel much more logical. And fitting the actual type of Mace Ork uses on the Quest 64 boxart, so.

No bias, it really is. Not only do you not get overwhelmed at the number of Pokemon until post game because it's all new, but it's really easy to get into because there were a lot of interactive turtorials to ease you in, and this was also when Pokemon really started using the internet for cool ideas and features.

I will argue to my grave that Sun & Moon, flawed it may be, carried forward some of Black and White’s better ideas. It’s my second favorite Pokémon generation.

SuMo is great. It's what came after that was the issue.

SwSh took a whole year to become good lol, but that DLC carries hard.

I'll cut KANTOOOO some slack, they made it obvious that it was just to ease Go! Players into the main series, and people got mad when it did just that.

I cut the 3DS games some slack because they clearly filled the cartridge to the max, justifying the lag.

But at the same time they didn't think ahead enough to realize that these models wouldn't age well.
