I can’t believe the duel of Mustafar went down in multiverse of madness.

Anyway, just got out of it. Pretty good movie. Definitely interested in what some of the original stuff would be for this film based on rumors.

Some really cool set pieces and use of magic though.

That thing was kept in captivity, basically put up as a display for people to gawk at, and was forced to listen to the same pre-recorded messages for god knows how long. You can feel how that'd drive anyone or anything absolutely insane.

For me it’s probably the second best.

Loki being my favorite. I thought each episode had a really solid setting and story, with a finale that didn’t feel rushed and paid off really well.

Moon knights got great episodes and story to, but the finale should have covered a few things better. It was still a really good watch though.

After that Wandavision or Hawkeye.

Then Falcon and winter solider. I liked Sam’s look and ending but every other character and plot line was a mess in the show.

before i look at reactions to MoM, i'm going to put my own thoughts. the tldr of it is that i thought it was really good.

Spoiler: more in depth

It's probably the recency bias talking, but I think it might be one of my favorite MCU movies. the characters were really compelling, and the action scenes were really creative (Every one of Wanda's kills especially). Raimi is an excellent fit for Doctor Strange, and I hope he does the sequel. There was less focus on different universes than I was expecting, but I think that was a good thing. It really let us focus on the characters (and their variants), instead of an endless parade of "oh cool callback". I was a bit suprised that there wasn't even a small Loki reference, I was half expecting the first post credits scene to be Sylvie or Loki showing up for help. Then I thought it was one of the Eternals, then I realized it was Clea. Not a big deal though. I also thought Billy and Tommy variants would end up in the main timeline, but once the Scarlet Witch showed up in Wanda's universe I realized it wouldn't happen. It'll happen eventually, I hope.

One tiny gripe - why are they making the main MCU continuity "Earth-616"? That's the comic continuity. Are the comics and the MCU not even in the same multiverse? It makes sense, they already established an entirely different version of The Watcher and the TVA, but it's still a touch dissapointing.
