I have a feeling Morbius will underperform and Sony will get cold feet with the rest of the Spideyverse. It just feels like a self fulfilling prophecy to me at this point. I don’t think Morbius will be as bad as people say it will be, but it’s competition really put it in a bad spot.

My big problem with the whole cinematic universe concept is that as of now, making a Spideyverse without actually having Spider-Man in it is stupid as ****.

I do think that if handled right, TASM3 would be a great way to reignite interest in the universe. But, I also have little to no faith Sony will get it right and Andrew will be done proper justice.

Still, worth a shot if you ask me. Marvel also has reigns on Spidey so if Sony screw the pooch they’ll probably just let Marvel make the movies and give them a cut of the profits.

In addition, I don't really understand why Sony and the director are spoiling on social media which will pretty much impact Morbius' legs on its box office run.

I'm replaying Pokémon Sword and I just beat Milo. My team includes Raboot, Arrokuda, Shiftry, Noibat, Dottler, and Milecry. And yes, I got myself a Shiftry before the first gym - the game gives you a Leaf Stone super early so I took advantage of that and evolved my Nuzleaf, and thanks to how the move reminder works in this game it has a moveset that pretty much obliterates everything in the early game.

Also, I'm not sure whether I want to use Pokémon I haven't used before or just have a team of all of my favorite Galar mons plus Cinderace. I usually go with the former, but I don't like the teams I've used in previous playthroughs so I might use Toxtricity and Grimmsnarl for the third time and Runerigus for the third. I definitely want to use Sirfetch'd which is one Pokémon I haven't used before even though I really like it

The binge release format sucks, any and all discussion that would otherwise last for weeks is condensed into a single week, maybe two at best and no one really gets to spend time appreciating what got put out and hyping up the next week's episode.

Another weirdly non-Europen design but this one is actually cool. There’s not much lore-accurate detail but I like how tentatively Hagen holds his sword as if it doesn’t belong to him, which in case it’s Balmung, is true. One of his eyes also seems to be missing, just like some sources describe him.

So I cycled 28 miles today through unusually hot Irish weather (Then again we consider about 60F to 65F warm) through countryside. Pretty good but **** the roads man out there. Like potholes every 15 seconds.

Also been playing Kirby and almost reached the end of the second world. Easily in the top three of my favourite games from the series (along with Canvas Curse and Dream Course............in which case play both).

I've mostly disconnected myself from the Amphibia fandom. But some toxicity I faced there still kind of haunts me sometimes and I got a bad reminder of that today. It's weird because I've seen other Amphibia fans talk about how "great" the fandom is but I can't stand it. Maybe I just went too deeply into it, maybe it's my romance aversion amplifying my emotions.

I think I need a social media break. No one in this thread has done anything to bother me but I think it's best I focus on myself right now and go touch some grass.

I honestly never really interact with the fandom directly. So I have no idea what it’s like, but I do find you can always enjoy shows a lot more at a surface level. Like I enjoy and will interact with YouTube videos on the show or for theories. Those sections tend to be pretty chill and offer interesting discussion points.

I saw a video about Any Radiance (aka hard as **** modded version of the final boss) and wanted to give vanilla Absolute Radiance a try on normal difficulty & then Ascended.

And after a few death, I did manage to beat it on both!

Soooooo, maybe I will give Radiant Difficulty a try later.

I think that's kind of my problem. I want to be able to just enjoy things at a surface level but sometimes when I really like something I just become obsessed and hyperfixate. It makes it hard to enjoy something at just a surface level sometimes when I can't stop thinking about it.

Maybe I'll pick up competitive pokemon back up for realsies. I found it was easier to get my brain off things that upset me when I was brainstorming team building and strategies.
