Some sources say Israfel means "the burning one" but I don't know how true that is. On the design: Four wings are nice and all but aren’t we going to talk (pun unintended) about how raw his design goes? I love the multiple mouths on Israfel’s face, as freaky as they are. It’s a great way to show how he speaks all languages. The horn he holds also looks more ancient and important-looking compared to Trumpeter. Considering how frequently SMT deals with the apocalypse, I’d expect the angel who announces the doomsday to have more important roles. Oh, well.
