We're still talking a 1/4096 chance here. And for some cruel reason Gamefreak decided that the Shiny Charm won't work on wild encounters in BDSP.

A little tip if you don't know already - Shaymin will respawn immediately if you leave the area, even if its only as far as the Seabreak Path. This means running away and then biking down to the Seabreak Path is actually faster then soft resetting.

Beat Gardenia. It was a bit stressful but my Staravia managed to ace the battle.

Team hasn't changed other than Shinx and Starly evolving and Piplup becoming ugly, and I only caught three Pokémon, those being Buizel, Chingling, and Silcoon. The latter mercilessly robbed me of my chance at getting a Murkrow
