Sorry, sorry, I'll do better.

Apparently people are excited for Spongebob spin-off movies on other characters.

The disrespect to Stephen Hillenburg...The dude never wanted spin-offs to his creation to begin with...Isn't it suspicious how after he died, Nick apparently began doing those like Kamp Koral?

Dude must be rolling in his grave.
Wasn't that disproven?

Well they DID start making Kamp Koral before he died, so odds are he had to sign off on that one.

Also, a part of me wonders if they're gonna keep using Tom.

It sound like they're sidelining him for Sonic 2 and focusing on the Sonic aspect, so idk if he's gonna have a place for Sonic 3.
Their doing an awkward retread of the Sonic/Chris dynamic.

Spoilers in case.

I'm expecting Sonic to return to his world at the end bidding Tom and his wife goodbye for their own safety and his world needing him knowing he'll never stay out of danger.

Following movies will then be set on Sonic's world just like in the games.

Actually, Hillenburg was aware of Kamp Koral and might’ve helped make it.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
Now, the new spin-offs are a different story, but he never really said anything directly opposing the idea of them. The only thing Hillenburg made clear was that he didn’t want to make Spongebob Babies.
“You know, one of these days, they’re going to want to make Spongebob Babies. That’s when I’m out of here.”
Even still, Kamp Koral was Spongebob Babies anyways so I guess he changed his mind.

Anyhow, I do find it a little suspicious, but there isn’t anything concrete.

Once Again Nintendo proves that they are the best advertisement for Emulation

I knew this would happen sooner or later, i was already making plans on buying a new SD card for my 3DS because ive been using the same one for over 6 years at this point.
I want to keep my 3DS experience as pure as possible before i have to resort to modding it. Which i eventually intend on doing also.

But yeah, y'all are gonna have to emulate abandonware now. Don't pay scalpers.
How well IS 3DS emulation nowadays? I'm too lazy to set it up myself at the moment lol

It would be a shame if people couldnt play games like Rythim thief or Yokai watch 3 if they wanted too. Because physical copies of both of those are impossible to find.

The 3ds stuff is also gonna hit Pokémon Bank so now anything you've caught in Gen 7 and earlier has a year to get transferred to the Switch games before they're locked out.
Aaaaand there's the bad news.

You won't even be able to do Gen 5 to Gen 6 or Gen 7 either because all transfers there were also done through bank.

The 3ds generations are completely isolated

PSA:

Citra is a very well function emulator that is capable of playing most the of the most popular 3DS titles at a quality close to what Nintendo would put out on their own NSO service. It is still in development and receiving HD texture packs and even has mods for certain releases (for example, Majora 3D has a mod that fixes Zora swimming).

I personally subscribe to the school of thought that one should own a game before emulating it, but seeing as these games are going to become completely out of print and inaccessible soon, I wholeheartedly encourage y'all to get your favorites purchased off of the eShop now and then get them backed up. If, for whatever reason, you miss out before things go down and none of the games get ported, then it is a neutral action to emulate the game you wish to play, as it is effectively abandonware. Emulating it will not hurt the developers profits nor its employees. it is completely neutral.

However, if you choose to emulate, I feel led to ask that you do what most emulation devs and fangame devs support doing and buy and support your official releases as much as you can. Nintendo already (mistakenly, IMO) believe emulating products they no longer sell nor seem to have any interest in selling is somehow a threat to them, please don't add fuel to their fire by making their case for them.

Sincerely,

A cat who really likes emulation and video game preservation

EDIT: Oh yeah, and what TheMightyP TheMightyP said: Don't pay scalpers. They have no legal right to demand money for these games, you ain't stealin' nothing buy not paying them, lol.

Way ahead of ya.
After a couple years i bought physical copies of most of digital 3DS titles, and just to be safe i downloaded the roms of said games.

So now i essentially have three copies of Project X Zone 2.
