G'Morning M'Gamers. Happy New Year you stinky Americans

Anyway I already posted my new year's resolutions yesterday but I think it's worth repeating:

  • Move out of my parent's house
  • Get a job that makes me feel like I actually accomplish something at the end of a day
  • Start taking classes for a more stable job for the future
  • Cut down on sugar and expenses
  • Cut caffeine completely
  • Start working on my novel series (researching, worldbuilding and planning mostly)
  • Continue exercising on a regular basis
  • Continue to see my friends at least once a month
  • Continue to chip away at my media bucket list
  • (Optional) Finally get a tomboy gf

Happy New Years
  • Update my resume for the first time in two years
  • Play more Ring Fit Adventure again (Post Game)
  • Work on more of my gaming backlog (less/shorter RPGs)
  • Buy a folder for my increasing Anime cel collection
  • Work again on studying for the JLPT N4
  • Get a new computer
I spent way too much time on completing the remaining 3 routes plus DLC I had to do in Three Houses so my backlog started to build up and it was already bad. I like my job but they recently changed around some requirements that I feel are unreasonable and want to be prepared just in case I want to try and move up or move on.

Going back to the office soon instead of working from home so I'll have my desk back after two years. My computer is from 2010 so I need a new one badly.

So my hopes for the New Year.

- Travel down south into the Republic on my own for the first time. Train and bike. Join the gym as well

- Get a full time job

- Curb my use on "non approved" anime and game music sites to focus and not get stressed if something gets taken down. Like guys, I starve on days that happens..................but I ****ed that up already.

- More time offline unless you guys (and try to advance the server far more).

- Really step up my anime watching and book reading

- Get a damn moped

Hopes for the year:

- I would like to get on a better living schedule. My eating habits and scheduling have been garbage for years and were really bad especially for the last two, this year I’m hoping to change that.

- DEBUT MOOMEW AAAA

- Buy less, play more. I wanna break my habit of buying a buncha new games at launch/Steam sales and then not finishing them.

- Continue to grow my art.

- Start studying Japanese.

“I’m Flight Tangata Manu. Me who proved my worth is now your champion.”

Alignment: Neutral-Law

Origin: Rapa Nui mythology. A figure revered in Easter Island by the cult of the chief god Make-Make. His name means “bird man”. Every year, men of importance on the island would be revealed in the dreams of prophets. These chosen men would compete in a dangerous competition involving crossing the sea by swimming and collecting a sooty tern egg. The winner would be considered a Tangata Manu and would not need to work for half a year.

Skills: Zanma, Dream Needle, Dekunda

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Snake race.

So… Tangata Manu is not a demon or god but a guy who achieved a temporary state of sacredness by completing a competitive ritual. Then why he looks like an actual bird man? Anyway, I think he’s a solid design and props for using such underrated mythology on top of that. It’s pretty cool how his wings are painted on his back to show that he gained them. Them and the shape of his face may be references to tangata manu wall paintings in Easter Island but I couldn’t find any source to prove it.
