So for those who saw both, waa Ghostbusters AfterLife better than 2016?

Because 2016 is the higher rated movie and I didn't really hear any fanfare on After Life at all. It just... came and went tbh.
In the very end. It's all up to you upon viewing it. I personally thought it was a better film, granted IMO one of my few disappointments this year.

For every single movie that anyone sees, they make up their own mind and think for themselves. Never judge a movie on what others think and only for yourself.

Godzilla vs. Kong, admit it's mostly because I'm a hardcore kaiju fan especially of Godzilla but regardless of enjoying it I admit IMO it was a flawed but enjoyable and fun movie, it certainly could have been better. Regardless of those flaws, I confess it's still my favorite film this year for the former reason I mentioned.

Thor: The Dark World, I'm the minority who actually liked it more than Thor: Ragnarok. That's an unpopular opinion I know.

Frozen (2013) I find to be an ok film at best but otherwise overrated.

Avengers: Endgame I found to be underwhelming and somewhat disappointing.

I think King Kong (1976) captures the spirit of King Kong more than Peter Jackson's remake, also like it more. Helps mostly due to the latter's runtime and it's over excess (I still find Peter Jackson's King Kong to be a decent movie but still my least favorite of the 9 King Kong films).

Just listing an example of differing opinions and how in the world of cinema, different opinions on movies makes the world a much more unique place.

I just got done watching a bunch of YouTube videos all about cutting up fish.

I don't even like fish. But seeing the process from fish to food fill me with satisfaction.

I'm such a freak. Wtf.

I just looked up the list of unusual deaths article on Wikipedia (and laughing at some of them) and a few other weird things.

Bored as **** but don't want to play the same game all day. Nothing wrong.

Speaking of deaths. Random fact.

Every January 1st, I tend to look up people who died on the first day of the new year. Don't know why just something about it that makes me want to.

I guess you guys are right. It's just that I've been watching these kinds of videos a lot lately. I guess I never knew how into it I was.

And with fish, itit'amazing how quickly it goes from being this green-grey creature into **** I see on the shelves at Walmart.

I knew how the process worked. Always have. But seeing it in action is really different then just knowing it.

In other news. With the remainder of the Christmas money managed to pick up the Blu-ray Collector's Edition of King Kong (1976) today at my local mall.

Ngl, I see where you're coming from. I love seeing the process of making food or food related items whether that be for stores or for immediate consumption. I do it a lot when I eating alone.

Having watched "the Nightmare before Christmas" on Disney+ for the first time, I can begin to understand why Tim Burton's film was such a massive fan favourite and success back at the day.

Also, little did I know that Catherine O'Hara who also portrayed Kevin McCallister's mother in Home Alones 1 and 2, did the voice of Sally.

I mean, it's not quite your fault, it went from seeing the process of handling fish to zit popping to deaths in like 5 posts and like idk how it managed to end up there.
Pleasure is found in the strangest places.

Like I'm not into zit popping but my sister is, as well as a lot of people I know. So it doesn't really pop up as a surprise to me.

I guess the death thing is pretty normal too. Cause there's things like murder mysteries and stuff.

Went from deaths to cartography and looked up ancient maps. I really love Ptolemy's map:

PtolemyWorldMap.jpg

Looks so cool and even found it that the books from back then showed small and nothing civilised places like my local river. Just bored.

Got bloom tweaks AND Marza materials Sonic (for the uninitiated, "Marza Sonic" just means he looks like the CGI cutscenes from Unleashed, lol).

NOW it can stand against the Wii version.
Not into Sonic but holy frick that looks smoothhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Nah, I just like to look at stupidity or the most absurd of incidents. Death included on that.

It's Wikipedia. You can go from one end to the other and back in like 5 articles.

Playing through Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles' story mode is pretty rough since the presentation looks so soulless compared to the anime (I know it's unrealistic to expect the same quality but it's still jarring). Exploration is pretty boring too since Tanjiro just leisurely jogs everywhere and there's no run button.

Mashing is fun tho. Maybe someday I'll learn actual combos.

I'm back from Sing 2. It was as good as a musical with real songs can be, it was pretty fun. If I were to grade it, it would be a solid A.

Plus, a wolf literally tried to kill someone, failed and then promised to finish the job later

So managed to crack the 15 hour mark in Yakuza: Like a Dragon already and have a few thoughts.

- Ichiban is a pretty cool protagonist and Saeko is pretty badass of a female character. The other characters has been entertaining-ish.

- Turn-based is pretty fun but honestly at this point, the novelty wears off a bit. It works well though.

- Yokohama isn't as entertaining of a new place compared to Onomichi from 6.

- Like a Dragon probably has my favourite soundtrack in the series bar 0 now.

- Minigames are a-mazing! Loving the Go-Kart, the movie and Virtua Fighter 2 in it.

All in all more Yakuza and more people should play Yakuza.

Finally saw No Way Home and man I really loved it. The cynical part of me wanted to hate it and like I do feel that it was a bit too corporate but like it pretty much had everything I wanted in it.

Dafoe didn't just chew the scenery, he ****ing devoured it and it was kino as ****

Garfield was really good I thought

The whole Statue of Liberty scene was exactly what I wanted from this film

The whole "New Start" I feel was needed a bit for MCU Spidey.
