Honestlyvmy Christmas haul this year was pretty weak but I'm not bothered tbh. These past years have been rough for my whole family so I didn't expect everyone to go above and beyond this year. And it's not like I had a ton of spare cash for giftgiving either.

It's a Christmas cliche to say that Christmas is more about time with family then it is about gifts but honestly as I've gotten older the more that's rung true for me. I can spend cash for myself irresponsibly any time of the year, but busy schedules can make hard to find time with loved ones in other states. None of my family was able to meet up this year but I had long phone conversations with some of them yesterday and it was good to catch up.

I'm pretty content all things considered.

overall yes, but if it’s just box office no. Thankfully low box office and a higher streaming numbers hasn’t stopped it from being a godly movie

There were a number of factors that had impacted the Suicide Squad's run in the box office that not just contributes to the pandemic in which is the reason why the box office this year is still struggling (with the exception of Spider-Man: No Way Home), one of these include streaming on HBO Max which is vulnerable to films being pirated.

With the gold points of shining pearl i got a game called Cel damage, a game where you play as generic cartoon characters riding cartoony vehicles beating other players, looked neat on the eshop so i picked it up and i'm having fun playing multiplayer.

DAILY DEMON SHOWCASE

This showcase's demon is of the Night race:

“I’m Night Guedhe. Pleased to make your acquaintance, sonny. Got any apples on you?”

Alignment: Dark-Neutral

Origin: Haitian mythology. Guedhe is a family of Loa that embody the death and fertility in Voodoo lore. One of the most famous ones is Papa Guede. He is the corpse of the first man who ever died and looks like a short, dark man with a high hat. Waiting at the crossroads, he takes the souls of the dead to the afterlife and protects the children in their deathbed despite his crass sense of humor. He can read minds and know everything about the living and dead.

Next time, you will meet a demon of the Avatar race.

Spoiler: Design Notes

This demon is so obviously supposed to be Papa Guedhe that I almost changed his name. Looking up this figure was pretty interesting, as he’s quite a down-to-earth deity who likes cheap cigars despite being a powerful psychopomp. I like his design and animations but it’s maybe a bit too sinister-looking for a benevolent character. Though, you can attribute this to him also reflecting some of the less moral Guedhe, such as Papa Guedhe’s “evil” counterpart Baron Samedi. Btw, he’s exclusively a Reaper demon but as SMT V lacks that race, Night seemed like an appropriate replacement.
