Thing is, Marvel wants the MCU to be like the comics.

Set up a bunch of characters, Culminate all of them in a big film, set up a bunch of new characters, Transform some of the old ones, Culminate them again, rinse and repeat.

Problem is, movies aren’t the same as comics. Endgame was a very satisfying ending for the most part and to continue so soon after that might tire some out and leave others not caring.

Personally, I’m fine with it. I have seen or will be seeing most of Phase 4. Though this just kinda feels like the after game. I think it would’vd been a good idea to wait another year or two before restarting, with maybe finishing the Spiderman trilogy in between. Thats just my bias talking though, I could spend days just watching Spiderman stuff.

Made it back from a local Smash Bros. Melee tournament. This was my first time doing anything like this (there aren't a lot of opportunities for that kind of thing in my area), and I watched a bit rather than participating (going by the rules, they seemed to be taking it very seriously), but while I didn't talk to many people like I was hoping to, I had a good time.

I liked the atmosphere of the place, and there was an arcade machine with a bunch of free games like Turtles In Time, Tekken 3, and various Capcom-made Marvel games (basically all of them aside from MvC2).
