There's a lot more reasons. Apparently there's a lot of bugs and glitches, and people are still pissy over the music and lack of Megas and ****.


I'm praying to all heck that they kept at least the Distortion World so my entire feed isn't flooded with people saying that Pokemon is worse than EA.

People getting up in arms because the remakes are, in fact, largely faithful to the original Diamond and Pearl games, which means none of the improvements that Platinum made.

At all. People had some hope for things to be okay but **** this is bad.

Also, the leaker did trade like half of his team to himself so like half the team earns double xp as a result (because traded mons earn that much more) but they wanna blame the odd level scaling to exp share when it's probably balanced.

They slaughtered a perfectly blossoming mechanic idea and then shamed everyone who was having fun for it by making it torture in the lore.

To be fair to people hoping for Megas, there was the Mega Lucario merchandise that started circulating a week or two ago. I don't think it was an entirely unreasonable hope to have, even if it was always a long shot.

I get being a faithful remake, but I don’t think being faithful means they have to leave out some QoL stuffs and be 100% faithful, especially when they’re making some improvements and not being 100% faithful anyway…

One-use TMs don’t help balance imo, the infinite-use ones were perfectly fine and that way you don’t have to go back to buy more or, you know, get disappointed when you can’t find anymore of a certain TM because it’s not sold in the marts :S

The lack of Platinum’s stuff is weird too if there’s not gonna be any DLC or anything, but I’ll still have fun.

iirc the music should be fine but idk I only heard what was in the trailers and one updated track on Twitter.

And like, you can't even say "Faithful recreation" because now NPCs give you multiple of them.


You had a system in place to fix this

HMs are nonexistant. They been 100% replaced. So bidoof isn't relevant anymore... or... I guess you can run an all Bidoof team
