Man, with how life's been as well as the state of Pokémon in recent memory, seeing this game kind of brings out the young and optimistic child I used to be. I really hope this game is as good as it looks.

So my thoughts?

I'm probably getting both. I never really got to experience Sinnoh (I was a Gen 5 kid), and BDSP had quite the face lift. I'm hyped.

Legends Arceus looks a bit rough visually in some areas, but I'll forgive if the game looks fun. Thankfully, the game looks hella fun, and I hope it takes off because Pokemon needs to evolve.

I’m gettin Brilliant Diamond because Diamond was the game I wanted as a kid but the store only had Pearl. Now’s my chance to redeem myself.

And I’m going with my boy Turtwig.
