I don't think that's necessarily true. They specifically mentioned that they were brought over from other regions, so they probably didn't have time to adapt and transform into different forms since they were inside the professor's house the whole time.

On that note, anyone remember Pokemon Quest? That weird game with the blocky style? The chinese mobile phone version will actually be getting a Johto update next month. Good for those three people who still play it, I guess.

Overall, you can pretty much say that the pandemic and other issues have really plagued the domestic (and international) numbers within the box office this summer.

Whilst Shang Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings is the next film to be released next month whilst Hotel Transylvania: Transformania was originally due to release on July 23rd which then shifted to October 1st before being pulled out of theaters due to concerns of the rising cases of the pandemic. The animated film is set to be available for streaming at Amazon Prime video after Sony Animation Studios and Amazon are closing in on a $100 million deal.

I used Basculin during my first BW run because I thought it looked great... I don't even remember if it did anything. Still always found it weird that it's not a Water/Dark type though, at least it would've made it somewhat more unique, given that typing was only shared with Sharpedo and Crawdaunt, another mon no one ever remembers.

This isn't necessarily true. Regional forms are sometimes caused by natural selection by they can also just be caused by their surroundings. That's why the same Pikachu or Exeggcute can evolve into different forms depending on where you take them.

Not that GF has to come up with a good explanation for these things. They BS reasons for things like this all the time.
