I just finished watching the Pokemon Presents, and this accurately describes my mood right now:

I don't think that's necessarily true. They specifically mentioned that they were brought over from other regions, so they probably didn't have time to adapt and transform into different forms since they were inside the professor's house the whole time.

That’s fair but two things to consider:

1) We don’t know how long it’s been since they were bought over. They also haven’t lived outside. Considering the focus on the region changing things, it would make sense. Also basculin literally has to die to evolve into a new form. They really don’t need much logic.

2:

They’ll mysteriously be transferable to gen 9, even though no other region has had them despite them being hundreds of years old.

Don’t ask why.

This is the exact logic as to why the starters have new forms. Gamefreak doesn’t focus to much on the specifics of why it happens, these things just do. There’s already no explanation for why Pokémon exclusive to the American region are all the way out in feudal Japan. So I don’t think we need much of an explanation. New forms would just be cool and sell, which I think Gamefreak knows.

Also they could just say that the starters struggled in battles outside the lab because of the rapidly changing environments. this in turn changed their dna to evolve into something more inspired by their new home.

I don’t see why in 12 minutes of gameplay, the starters are never seen at all with the trainer, unless they have new forms.

Just the Battle Tower so it's very much DP but with Platinum's dex + maybe a few extras

Also Pal Park is still there it seems. Wonder what it'll do now

My bet is oak park is just the way you transfer to or from home. Like what they did with the safari zone on Let’s go.

I guess regional forms for the starters are possible.... I'm probably just being dumb because I want regular old Decidueye in Smash and for some reason my brain thinks it's a possibility because of this game. (sorry for mentioning that every five seconds, I should really stop.)

Just caught up.

-Man, I love N and I like Reshiram, but I'm a little mixed in their introduction into Masters. Partially for selfish reasons as I wanted to run a Tao Trio team like the Weather Trio, but also because I'm worried about how it'll stand out from the other Dragon and Fire Types that we have running around in the game. Still probably pulling for them as it's N and Reshiram though, I can't ignore those two. The Villain arc looks cool though, and thank Arceus Lusamine (or at least a version of her) is remaining a villain for it unlike USUM.

-I'm still on the fence on BDSP, but it does look a lot better. I like the updates to the Underground and Contests which seem to be worthy time sinks based on what I'm seeing of them, and the former being used as a way to allow other non DP-dex Pokemon into the region is a good call. Battle Frontier being missing is disappointing, but expected, though I'm curious to see how Pal Park is still returning.

-Legends looks really good, I'm glad to see they're taking advantage of the older era to play around with new ideas as it looks fun so far. The new styles look interesting and I'm really curious to see what's going on with the not-Blood Moon effect that's affecting the Pokemon. As for the new forms and evolutions, the only one I'm not 100% on is Braviary's and it still looks good. Wyrdeer and Basculegion look really great and I'm glad that these forgotten Pokemon are getting new evolutions, while Growlithe looks cute in its new form and makes me wonder how Arcanine is going to turn out. Legends is definitely the star of the Presents for me and I'm definitely planning on picking that one up.

He may seem like a low tier character thanks to his utter lack of style points and deficient grace stats, but his funny face ability more than makes up for it. If you know how to use it, that is.

Next ****ing kid who think's their "****in class" by running in front on cyclists on purpose I'm gonna kick them. Some kids did that to me when I was cycling home from the library, running in front of me causing me to swerve. I hate the spawnlings in my neighbourhood!

This is like the fifth time in two months this has happened. Every time this happens I risk falling over and breaking my laptop, doesn't help that I'm already anxious on my bike as it is. If that happens it won't be good...............for them just as much.

Some people shouldn't have kids.

I'd recommend it but really follow that it is just more Konosuba. I really wanted it to be Megumin the Movie but nope so I was disappointed. It is insanity as it's finest.

I should decide on what I'm going to watch next eventually. What are you planning next anime wise or you just on the low for it there?

Asking because there's currently a really strong haze from Africa going on in Gran Canaria and I don't know what to do to get over the heat.

Sit inside with the AC or fan on and a cold beverage (water, juice, soda, iced tea, etc.) chilled in the fridge beforehand and find a distraction (movies, music, tv, video games, etc).

Just remember one thing. Director's Cut (hour long episodes), then take some time to reflect in after watching episode 8 to let it sink in. The second half of the former is considered one of the best anime episodes of all time for a reason. It IS soul shattering.

As for me gonna finish Anohana tonight. Then go for K-ON via the high seas since I've put it off for too long or New Game! if going Crunchy. I need to really step up the anime watching considering the uncertainties for both legal and pirate sides with the Funi-Crunchy merge service.

Shout and swear at the neighbours to turn their ****ty porno music off. Don't want to hear it the while I'm trying to sleep in the heat.

I just tie an ice pack around my head. Simple but effective.

Because this is the newest game they've had the chance to develop since DQ11 came out?!?

DQ11 released during SwSh's development cycle. They can't just dump everything and start over.
