Ehhhhh in terms of turbulence and unhinged factor, Pokémon's probably tied with Paper Mario atm.

Sonic fans are just depressed and cranky atm. They don't really argue with each other, more just echo chamber how Sonic's in a supposed second dark age, Unleashed is the franchise's true golden standard that did no wrong and is a Hidden Gem™, and how the new game will suck no matter what. Ironically, you're probably gonna see less infighting, unless it's a Colors stans VS. Unleashed stans kerfuffle.

I don’t know where that mindset comes from but that’s actually illegal and VERY RARELY happens without scandals. This is more so that, like The Last Jedi (which is actually a good movie), did not meet the expectations of the fans while still being a good piece of media in itself.

I'd say you're on the money there. Critics probably had more of the mind to review it on its own merits whereas fans disliking were looking for something more familiar.

predictions for the pokemon direct

-Pokemon Unite mobile release date and a few character reveals. Sylveon and Greedunt have been datamined, so probably them.
-BDSP stuff. If there will be regional variants in this game, they'll be revealed here.
-Legends Arceus stuff. Decently big
-A new spinoff revealed.

I haven't made it to Black Panther in the MCU yet, but after seeing him in Captain America Civil War I am sad that he is gone. His legacy shall continue to inspire many.

watching Black Panther is probably gonna make you feel more sad over the realization (but it’s an amazing movie, so definitely a recommendation)
