I accept the end gladly

As bittersweet as it may be

Let it end
This may just be me, but at a certain point it stopped being exciting.

The characters were exciting and cool, don’t get me wrong. And the game itself is still great. But it feels so expected. Like we’re going through the motions.

New direct-reveal-Sakurai presents-release-play them for a week-wait for next direct-repeat

I think the internet collectively needs a break from smash. So whenever a new one comes out in like, ten years. Some of that wow factor will be back. Until then we can actually gasp play the game!!

And hey, that part is still exciting as hell, especially when we're on the verge of it happening and hype is at an all time high.

But yeah, I'm ready for it to be done and for Ultimate to be a 'finished' product, lol.

Lemme see who the last new kid on the block is, and then let 'em Smash with the rest of the goober cast for years to come.

I agree.

But it’ll also be really weird to finally feel like the game is finished.

It’s been constantly getting new content for almost three years lol

Don't worry

There'll still be people reminding you that "This isn't ACTUALLY the end! This is just a 4d chess move by Sakurai to build up hype!" for a good year/year and a half afterwards.

Replaying Ultimate NES Remix and now I'm sad that the franchise has yet to hit the Switch.

Maybe they could come up with "Ultimate NES Remix... 2" featuring every challenge from the first two games, new challenges for some of the games (especially the 5 that were regulated to the Bonus sections) and add new games to the mix.

Also someday I'm gonna sit down and beat the NES Metroid game. The exploration aspect I like, but it's way too easy for me to get lost.

Finally that song I mentioned two days ago is still stuck in my head.

I have my issues with TLJ but fair points. I don’t doubt there are critics that legitimately enjoyed this show. I’ve only seen one episode that got uploaded onto YouTube before it was taken down and clips of other parts, but from what I’ve heard and gotten overall, 94% seems a bit generous concerning the show’s content. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if there were some who praised it out of fear of getting slandered by Smith like with ClownfishTV. I’ll try to give the show another shot though so far, it hasn’t made the best first impression on me, and I was someone who was excited to see it even though I’m not a He-Man fan
I have my issues with TLJ as well I don’t think it’s the best movie ever but it decided to do something really brave with the Star Wars franchise and it sticks out just as much as Empire does for being against the grind of the Star Wars formula.

He-Man is a very beloved character and I get that there might be some animosity towards a possible shift in the show that might not focus on him but it’s brave and if they can deliver with the payoff, unlike The Rise of Skywalker for instance, then it could become one of the best. Like I said, I have no idea if it will since I haven’t watched the show and can not really comment on it but there’s a possibility. There’s been times when I’m like, “well that sucked, there’s no way they’re making that make sense” and then they do and I’m like “oh…”

I’m going to have to watch it now so I can make my own opinion on it but Critics almost always look at a show for what it is and not what it could be. COULD it be better? Maybe in the eyes of the fans sure. But did it execute the vision of the Writers, Directors, and Animators and was it executed well? It seems likely that from the critics standpoint, yeah.

Yeah, it was a great run, but really, I feel the same way with Ultimate as I do New Horizons; while there could be some things that could be touched up a bit, I'm perfectly content with everything that's been added. Hardly anything could ever get me overly excited at this point.

What's crazy is when all said and done, we'll be ending on 10 characters short of 100.
Actually... we're ending 11 short of 100.

82 + 7 echoes.

Then again, that's assuming Pokémon Trainer and Pyra/Mythra are each counted separately.

If counting alts we're already over the 100 mark.

Either way... the end approaches for Ultimate DLC... I need to train my Captain Falcon and Jigglypuff amiibo to 50 soon.

There's already a good amount of people who think CP11 will be entirely mute ala Steve because it'd mean they'd have to include a new row for the voice menu.

....idk people are weird.
As a theory? It’s something to consider.

But nah, this has gotta be a ROCK SOLID RULE you need to bend your own speculation around.

Because smash speculation is serious business.
