:/ Yeah, I had that feeling when I read the article that it wasn't going to be pleasing, specially since you were really hoping for a remake of AC1. I mean, maybe it still could happen? But if they're going to focus that much as it sounds like they're going to with Infinity...I have my doubts. I do really hope you get to still enjoy the older titles...I mean, Rogue is the only reason why I still show interest in the franchise, though yeah, I also got plenty other titles to try out, even though the control scheme prior to Black Flag drives me crazy.

I just got to the point in Moon dwellers where the Robot wars characters who appeared in Project X Zone show up, picking up immediately from that games plot and Haken complaints that world jumping is inconsistent. And man its so hype when he board his mech the Phantom and a high quality remix of his theme plays.

Thank god the token locks you into synchros, cause otherwise this archetype would literally just be “Needlefiber turbo.dek”

They are also technically generic wyrm support (to an extent), which is interesting. It makes splashing Tenyis an interesting option if nothing else.

Off to see Black Widow. This'll be my first time seeing an MCU film in theaters, and on opening night, nonetheless.

I'm really only a casual MCU fan (I've seen and enjoyed most of the films, though don't really prioritize em like most people do), but I was invited along to see this one, and It'll be fun to relive the moviegoing experience, now that I'm all vaccinated and such.

My expectations aren't too insane with this one, this ain't a major event film like say Endgame or whatever, but I still expect a decent time nonetheless. Will tell y'all what I think when I get back.

My story with the MCU is odd. The first movie I watched was... Endgame, as part of a group on opening weekend. I liked it, but it was certainly an unusual introduction to the series. I got really into it over quarantine, so this is the first MCU movie I'll see as part of the fanbase, so to speak.
