Decided to push Only the Brave back to June to watch Shrek 1 & 2 instead given its the month of May and its 20th anniversary and what better way of celebrating them the series by watching the first two movies on the month the first film came out 20 years ago.

And yet it's aged like a fine green wine. It's hard to find such old CGI movies that still look so good so many years later.

I’d be bummed out if it was just another character from an already repped franchise. Especially a Sonic character. Sega is sitting on Shenmue, Yakuza, NiGHTS, Puyo Puyo, Valkyria, Streets of Rage, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star, Virtua Fighter, Sakura Wars, and so SO much more that it lands up there with Konami and Capcom in terms of iconic franchise. Then relegating it to a character from P5 or Sonic would just be a bummer.

Bummers and disappointments can lead to greater things in Smash tbf. I was bummed when Kencineroar were the last base reveals, only to be satisfied by all the dlc content outside of the Dragon Quest stuff (kamikaze excluded...that's the only thing I've managed to get enjoyment out of from the series). Besides, unless it's just me being a ****ing weirdo, but there's always something satisfying about others getting a character they want to see join the Smash universe. So whoever ends up in the game, we can at least be happy over someone else being happy

SEGA has this incredible IP library just sitting right there and my dude really goes "yea I'd pick a second Persona 5 character"

yeah that's right...I picked my options from Sonic and Persona 5...and I ain't gonna change what I want to see until threatened
