Reading about ebikes and stuff out of curiosity and read this:

"In the UK ebikes have their motor cut off when you reach 15.5 mph."

That sounds fun but I ain't spending over £1000. Half of that is for the PS5.

I'm imaining a world where every Final Fantasy game gets a remake in the style of FFVIIR. I get gosebumps at that thought.

I'm imagining a world where after 7 is over they alternate going backwards and forwards. So 6 and 8 would be next. Then 5 and 9, 3 and 10, 2 and 11 (if it counts), 1 and 12, then finishing off with 13. (IDK if they would do 14... maybe they skip the MMOs).
How they haven't even done FFVI in Octopath Traveler's yet engine is a big surprise. Just not a fan of their new game so far having played the demo.

Been watching the second season of Dr. Stone lately.

The episode with Chrome's Prison Break was very well done and it is great to see how well his character had certainly developed in which he utilises the tricks he had learned from the past season.
Oh it gets better my friend. Been my favourite this season in a hard fought for 1st place.

Plus that OP is chill.

Still, when i'm out, make sure to tag me if we get anything new, especially when it come to Clam Girl, since she apparantly always get new dialogue with each ports. Got it, Undertale Squad?

It also doesn't help that Pokemon fans basically kill any monster catching game that comes to the west.
Yokai watch 2 and 3 were overlooked completely in the west despite being WAY better than the 3DS Pokemon games in almost every regard.
Pokemon fans don't play other RPGs unless it has monster catching. If it does, they'll twist it to become something that it isn't so it can fit their own agenda.

Basically calling them Pokemon clones, even though the gameplay in these games is almost entirely different.

Acting as if Pokemon has the rights to turn based battles.

Other monster catching games I like include Yo-Kai Watch, Nexomon: Extinction, and Keitai Denjū Telefang.

I'm more open than others.

You mean a small team of passionate devs can't singlehandedly destroy a multi-billion dollar corporation and IP just because I post snarky comments on reddit?

Outrageous and completely unprofessional of the dev team. Trash game: I bet I, someone who has zero experience making games, could do better than people who do it for a living because me playing video games obviously makes me an expert on the subject. Nintendo and TPC should pay me millions, I am a genius who could fix everything with one simple solution:

mak gaem gud lul

It's so easy, just choose to make a good video game. Just put every feature I've ever wanted into it, and sell it to me yesterday with lifetime guaranteed free updates, too.

EesYbat.jpg

Is a simple request, no? I am a very understanding and reasonable gamer, who has a realistic grasp on the economics and philosophies of game design.

And then there's Digimon who awkwardly manages to somehow stay alive despite all of this.

I think part of that one is that Digimon managed to carve a niche by aiming to an older demographic than the other monster catching games.

Telefang? Now that's a name i haven't heard in like 12 years.

Digimon had good timing in that they got in right before Gold and Silver, so they got a foothold early on, before everyone was looking for the fabled Pokemon Killer.

SMT exists too, but that market is completely different.

Going soon to bed, but before I go.

I like to ask everyone here that, if the Xbox port of Undertale reveal some new secret info about Deltarune or even Undertale LORE itself. Please destroy my alerts box by tagging the **** outta me.

'cuz I feel like someone is gonna discover something really cool, but I won't be here to see it. :C

But yeah, that aside, wish you all the best & a great day.

And god bless Watame, she's a angel.
Well, we got a little bit of lore regarding character interactions sorta at least (not sure if that’s all, haven’t played the XBox version yet myself and just saw stuff on Twitter):
In the new Dog Slots/Poker area, Sans shows up at the poker table and says some stuff, including these bits of info:

Sans once tried to find videogames Toriel (I think he said a “friend” though? So not sure, may have been implied to be Toriel) would like, even if they were easy, so he asked Alphys for recommendations, but forgot she was the kind of person to recommend whatever she’s currently obsessed with; she kept recommending the same RPG. (I’m not sure if he said Alphys’s name, but it sounds like Alphys).

Sans also said Asgore once showed up at one of his comedy things at the MTT Hotel; Sans said one pun, and Asgore just started howling with laughter. Sans decided he’d wait for Asgore to stop before continuing, but Asgore laughed for so long Sans just got the curtains closed on him.

Also, may not mean much but:
There’s a new border with a casino theme, including a C. Round from Deltarune as a chip, a Joker card based on Jevil, and a Queen of Hearts card that seems to be based on Toriel.

The problem with other Monster collectors is moreso that they are basically being marketed or percieved as "Pokemon clones/killers" which raises expectations to something that will never be met 99.9% of the time.

Sometimes the games are "Too" pokemon like...Temtem is quite literally a Pokemon clone from the gameplay to professors, starters, rivals, gyms, etc. Then you get games that differ greatly from the gameplay of Pokemon but, once again because of the comparisons to Pokemon fall flat because of how polarizing the gameplay is, even though without the comparison would've been better received. Yokai Watch, while it still did well, still doesn't quite hold up to the grand monopoly that is Pokemon.

The problem with a game that is not only the biggest of it's genre, but also the biggest in media franchise history. It leaves little room for others to make as big of an impact.

If we are to have another monster collector do well, it needs to be different enough to stand on it's own without the need for a "Pokemon clone" label.

Sorry but I need it to be 7R style. The 3D graphics, the immersive cutscene laden story, the action oriented gameplay, the linear dungeon design, it’s all tasty tasty treats for your pet Snake.

It also doesn't that the first Yokai watch was the worst one.

I do work in a distribution center, but luckily they got the power back on and I was able to finish my day!

Really glad, too: We probably would've been forced to work this Saturday if they sent us home. :191:
I used to work at one too, and the rule there was 'no power, no problem...' at least for the package recipients. The building was supposed to 'go manual' in that event.

When it comes to Digimon vs Pokemon, they've kinda been the inverse of each other: Digimon likes to experiment wildly with their games(going from weird MMORPGS to regular rpgs to fighting games at the flick of a switch) while Pokemon has stuck to the exact same formula until recently.

The same kinda applies to the animes of the two, but it's not as obvious and you could probably make a case for a few of them being a bit too similar rather than polar opposites

I still need to play Undertale as well. Eventually.
Undertale is a fantastic game assuming you replay it at least once

Really the main thing I didn't like about it when I first played it was how I had already spoiled myself on everything so I kinda just blazed through it :056:
