Just finished watching Promare and I'm on my way to eat and look at possible birthday gifts with my friends.

(Tagging osby and Cutie Gwen since they really want to see my thoughts).

Spoiler: Non spoilers review

The characters are for the most part really charming and likeable, the action is of the classic Studio Trigger quality, the animation is sublime, the lessons the movie gives are really big and important, the music was top Notch and overall my friends and I really liked It although one of them felt that It isn't their kind of japanese animation (still found It great)

That kiss between Lio and the main character near the end made the movie instantly a 10/10.

Training a little bit more with Hero, since I've decided to use him for the new tournament next Saturday. I would use Ryu, but I'm nowhere near competitively good with the character. Snake is also not going in since I don't consider myself good enough with the character to use in a tourney yet.

And Little Mac is self-explanatory, you'd have to bribe me to make me use him. I consider myself a pretty damn good Mac but he's just outmatched, especially if I gotta run into YoseFu again.

Decided to experiment to see if the default set up for the LEGO Mario Starter Course fits entirely on my desk in the bedroom.

Been on a massive nostalgia trip when it come to Cartoon I watched in the past.

Out of all the shows I'm remembering atm, Codename: Kids Next Doors is the one I'm loving the most rediscovering.

Training. Practicing these advanced techniques actually helps my play a lot, I've been able to do more stuff in Elite Smash and I'm winning a lot more now. I definitely have weak matchups though, I panic hard against a Wifi Lucas.

Ah, finally the sweet episode of Beast Morphers, the full-out team-up one. Good episode, though it's inconsistent with canon a little;

Both the Dino Megazord and the Thundersaurus Megazord are destroyed in Power Rangers. I am unsure if that's the case in the Super Sentai, though. They did appear with what looked like somewhat tron lines and such, so it's likely they used the Morphin Grid to revive past versions of them before their destruction.

My only real complaint beyond that inconsistency is the lack of Tommy. Albeit, he's on both teams, and I'm sure that he wasn't in the actual Super Sentai episode as the Green or Black Ranger counterparts respectively, so it makes sense to not add him in. Could be they couldn't get his actor. It also appears there was no decent way to put him in the Megazord fight either, which wasn't super long or anything.

That said, they combined three different Power Blasters into one to defeat Goldar Maximus. Which is pretty impressive overall, as that can defeat most normal Monsters of the Week anyway. Regular Goldar I don't think could be defeated by that either. Hell, an Ultrazord couldn't put him down, just make him retreat. Though arguably the Thunder Ultrazord's energy blasts are kind of weak anyway, at least compared to it crushing an enemy by literally falling on 'em. That said, he's one of the few who could survive an Ultrazord blast either way. The others are Scorpina and the Impursonator. The last one is so powerful two Ultrazords were worthless and only lost cause she was fused with another monster, which made her vulnerable. Hot damn, Rita, you made one hell of a Monster as is.

The good: Been able to eat three meals a day for the first time since this "illness thing" has started. Trying to keep to meat wuth every meal. Also went back to Cold Steel III as well and another two hours in and gonna watch another Studio Ghibli film tonight. I want to add something new I haven't seen so I'm thinking Arrietty (anime version of The Borrowers) or The Wind Rises.
However Whisper of the Heart (probably my second favourite behind From Up On Poppy Hill) is making me want to watch it again. Also did some personal reflection of a few things.
From yesterday and forgot to mention but have a work placement set up for me in January and have another in the short term I'm considering, IT work involving charity shops so I'm thinking about it.

Seriously anime films and music has been my saving grace throughout all this.

The bad: I'm really getting to the point where I don't know if it is my severe anxiety or actually my health playing with me anymore. Doctors have checked nothing wrong with my heart but I'm still getting like a "leaking sensation" there up to neck for sometimes so its freaking me out and have been checking my heartrate (which is normal). Neck has gotten a bit better but might ask the doctors to check nerve damage as well. On the way out........but still a good bit to go.

I know it's nothing serious but it's the body that's doing the phantom pain kinda thing.

There's a fear of mine about all this but I'd probably save it to PMs or something. Thankfully as my job officer mentioned, it's a good thing I'm not in work at the minute, but at the same time I think that would be the best distraction.

I'm a bit on a nostalgic trip myself. Mostly Digimon(man the first few seasons are way darker than I remember) but I have started watching/playing a bunch of old nostalgic games, like say Buddyfight. I would play the Bakugan DS game... if only I could find it.

You've been going through a lot of health issues lately, so feeling anxious and tense about it is completely understandable. It's no surprise, and most anybody would feel similar to one degree or another if they were in your shoes. Best you can do is do what's best for your body and follow the lead that you need to follow.

Eh you find surprising sorts all over. If I recall there's a member in their 40s or something around here.

I mean I'm 23 and the guy who introduced me to this kinda stuff is about 34 so I'm not really surprised at it. I mean I remember freaking out years ago when you had someone who was 20 in a class full of 16-17 year olds but it's the personality that matters and you get used to this over time.

Oh I eat breakfast too. The ice cream is just there for my medicine, and I only eat like... a mini cone's worth(think smaller than your hand size)

Originally I ate chocolate pudding instead but I don't like that anymore, and Ice Cream just happened to be something more convenient to use.
