Talk about it. I'm in 2 Honors classes (the largest amount of classes allowed), I'm in the gifted program and I am quite knowledgable, which manages to surprise my friends from time to time XD

I guess they don't offer them in my district or province. Anyway, I took gifted courses until my teacher (and a professor from a Uni) told me that they really only check if you took applied or academic and don't care about gifted. I realized it was extra work for nothing so I went back to academic.

Well, apart from Literature. But because of ****ing band (which the band teacher basically forced us all to keep band without our knowledge. I hated him ever since), I couldn't take it.

It's surprising how many of us are similar when it comes to school (I finished high school a couple years ago). I was the one who payed attention most of the time (had annoyingly observant or strict teachers so I had to), only did just enough of the classwork to pass, did very little to none of the homework, yet never got lower than a B on tests. I also tended to surprise most of my classmates (who I wasn't good freinds with) whenever I answered questions correctly in class (no matter how many times it happened, they were still surprised/impressed with what I knew). I was always smart enough to be in the Honors/AP classes, but my work ethic held me back from being in them unless there wasn't a non-Honors/AP version of the class (Calculus).
