So I was walking through some grass in Platinum (training my Zubat) when suddenly...

Totally random.

It knew Self-destruct too, so I was damm lucky my Pokeball worked in one shot (or that I hadn't sold all my balls yet XD).

This is my second shiny I found in all Pokemon games I've ever played, the first one being a Shiny Tentacool on my Crystal (the file of which my cousin deleted So this is the only one I own right now, although its on an emu...).

I wish it was a Scyther. D: But I'll take what I can get lol.

I've only encountered a shiny Tentacool on my 1539th playthrough of FireRed. But that was extremely lucky too, so yeah.

I remember when I found my first and only shiny.

When I was in 5th grade with my pokemon Sapphire, one of my friends offered to give me cheatcodes on his game shark. Before he did that however, he showed me the location of Rayquaza and while walking through sky pillar I came across my first shiny: shiny Sableye. Man I nearly dropped the game because I thought it was glitching. He said that they are extremely rare and to capture it. I did and man was I happy.... bad thing that thing is mediocre...

Someone told me that says school children in Ohio take Algebra 3-4 as a standard math class in Freshman year of high school.

Oh. Trigonometry or PreCalculus? My friend goes to a high school where the standard math level for incoming Freshman is PreCalculus, with Sophomores taking AP Calculus.
