i liked your vids with xyro, they were fun to watch (which is surprising considering it's peach vs. samus). xyro scares me...i hope i never have to play him.

i think sometimes you are too concerned with landing dair on samus, and you should just focus on hitting with bair/nair - and if you're going to dair samus's shield, make sure you space it and retreat away so you don't take an upB to the face. but yeah, i learned a lot about how i should play against samus. are you going to put up the vids of you vs. san/you vs. trela?
Thanks everyone, KB, Rick, and Nicole for advice/support I appreciate it.
And yeah I'm going to try to get the set up vs. Trela I just have to wait for him to upload it.

And no, I don't know the Ike matchup in fact that was the first time I've played an Ike offline - I'll look into the matchup analysis.

I would like to offer some advice if you dont mind. This advice applies to ALL characters and ALL players. Read the guides/analysis or w/e but MAKE SURE you take it with a grain of salt because at the end of the day what REALLY matters if your EXPERIENCE vs a c character and not how much you READ about them.

PS: most character boards over hype their character and make outrageous claims which are more false than anything. An example is snake vs peach....its not 60-40...its ALOT WORSE.

Yeah Xyro thanks for the advice and tips I noticed that everything the Peach boards were saying about Olimar how to approach him etc etc just doesn't work for me so I play how I like to and it usually works.

Edit: Okay reg'd on wifi. Just wait for the wii code registrations to go through and send your replays whenever.

Nah, I noticed that too. You got to read their DI and play patient. Try to play safer in tournament settings, but aggro when they're in a disadvantaged position.

That was pitiful.
You did fine. You just got unnecessarily aggressive at the end and payed for it because Lucario is the comeback king. You have the tools to camp him and you had a solid lead, so if that ever happens again, make sure the Lucario comes to you instead. He can f-smash and AS camp all he wants, just avoid and shield that shiz.

I once encountered the same problem last year against Fonz. I had a solid lead then for some reason I started getting aggressive and reckless for the kill, and this was the result:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0s8Z12fjJOY

I play the entire match beautifully; zoning, spacing, reading, movement, everything was spot on...until 4:40. You'll notice what I started doing wrong almost immediately, and that was fishing for the kill and getting over 100 damage in return for it after having nearly a full stock lead. You weren't as blatant with your aggression but the similarities are still noticeable. Again, if you're ever in that situation again, just camp...camp hard. You have the tools to punish Lucario's rolls, approaches, etc.

Once I learned to remain patient in a last stock scenario against Lucario...good things started to happen. I ended up steamrolling Fonz in another tournament not long after (I'm sure it was one of our Delta Upsilon events), and beat Lee Martin's Lucario in a friendly at MLG (just a friendly I know, but still Lee's Lucario lol).

Hope this helps you correct yourself for next time. Good luck on the Ike and Samus matchups as well. :)

Thanks for all the help KB your awesome :D.
I noticed I did like the same exact thing as you haha but mine started at about 8:02 in the match, I'll just work on camping harder last stock, waiting for the kill I thought I had it around 8:30 but Trela was spacing like insanely well I was spacing well too but he just refuses to die haha.

I got dis next time ;)

**These videos are not submissions to the thread. I will leave it up to the replay supplier(Illmatic) to decide whether they are to be submitted in their own post.

Alright Ill your matches are recorded and fully uploaded:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srIEdU0ZW4E Puff vs. King Dedede

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjNtAt0rUKc Peach vs. King Dedede

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXULdEmwBJo Peach vs. Olimar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-PviUHhd1E Peach vs. Pika

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7gUYCQhbTc Peach vs. Snake

I think during the transfer the Snake game got slightly corrupted because there were a few pauses whenever I played it on the wii. The Bob-omb clip is intact though if that's what you mainly wanted out of that vid. Oh and feel free to let me know of any questions. I'd like to add the names of the other players if you happen to know them/want to tell me.

what do you mean not patient? I died from an extended shy guy hit box.
I think he was talking about this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV47VUFmT0U&feature=related
as in, your counterpick game WAS recorded :p

I was absolutely gutted you lost that set because again, I really thought you could have won it :( Yoshi's Island is really crap imo, you did very well on it but you got really screwed over at some points. I nearly cried when you tried to use Peach Bomber to recover and then suddenly, the support ghost was there causing you to bomber right into Lucario's F Smash :( Getting hit by the late hitbox due to the Shy Guys sucked too...although I have a feeling the Lucario knew you were going to do that which is why he started using F Smash...I'm interested because only until his last stock does he actually start using F Smash defensivly which is when he makes his comeback

Edit: Things went a bit downhill on Green Greens if you don't mind me saying. I literally shouted 'NO!' when I saw you'd buffered a Peach Bomber...right into some bombs :( By game 3, the Lucario had started to figure stuff out, such as rolling away from Dair combos, using more F Smash and finding ways to grab you

Again I was really gutted for you because I was convinced you were going to win at the end of game 2 but then Lucario changed playstyles and became much more defensive :(

Also what KB said :p

Loool Green Greens was a disaster, I Peach bombed by accidenet hit bombs with dairand was just playing overall really bad.
I really felt that I put alot out on Yoshi's Island, but I just didn't come out with the win haha.

AND YES ALL TRELA DOES LAST STOCK F SMASH (I can show you some halarious videos if you want) he has a history of doing this I've witnessed it like three times before.

No problem I'm glad I could be of help to you Illmatic. If any other Peaches here would like their games recorded feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do for you. Preferably offline/tournament games in order to contribute to the thread, but if it's not one of those I'll see about recording them if the cause seems important.

Illmatic.

These videos are not going in the archive. The one that 2link121 recorded for you. Why? Because did videos just show you outperforming your opponents and you have wifi matches. The videos that will be posted in the OP must have the opponent actually playing the match up correctly and not being a punching bag.

The sentence bolded goes to everyone

I don't think he planned on submitting those. I think he said his AiB group was doing a combo video and he wanted those recorded for certain clips. I'm probably going to limit my recording to offline friendly/tourney games in any future requests. This was mostly a test to show how well I can get the work done as well as doing something nice for someone.

Lol chill homie.
This was just for fun I wanted to get some wifi matches recorded I didn't ask for them to go on the archive nor would I even want them to. Next time I'll just ask 2link to put them in the video archives. (If he wants to)

Some of these were just fun matches that I wanted to go into a combo video some friends of mine are making on AiB (Llod is going to be in it too).

Thankfully 2Link (being totally awesome) uploaded them for me because I couldn't do it myself.

Why did you record a wifi friendly vs my pikachu xD?
I really didn't mean to send that to 2Link, it was a total accident I did however save the replay because I actually felt that I played decent that time and I wanted to see what I was doing right this time around.

The recommended video I think showcases my playstyle the best. The Snake videos I think are an excellent example of how turnips can really counter-camp grenades, while the Rob videos are a great example of how to lock-up against projectiles. :ohwell:

As always, comments and critique are welcome.

@Raz - Needs more approach with Floating and SH Bairs :p

@Meno - I was impressed by your B Sticking (really, I was!) I liked the way you were constantly moving around whilst pulling Turnips...but I felt you'd really limited yourself by your inability to Reverse Glide Toss, something I think really helps you play defensive in general, especially vs MK

I'll write some more stuff later...probably :lick:

I felt the same way, Rick!! I really enjoyed your b-sticking Peach, Meno, but I still think the c-stick is better for Peach

*reads and then trips on face*

THAT'S WHY I CHOOSE THAT GOD**** VIDEO

I do it like... once. But yea, I can completly do it, it's really not hard, I'm just committing it to muscle memory. Finding uses for it is my next step.
