question: how'd you make it to bracket at pound, and not onto AZ's PRs?
I'm not on AZ's PR by choice... along w/Taj...I'm trying to further pursue competetiveness in my community...being ranked in my own community has no value to me since OoS, is where I want to prove myself, not to my own hometown...

I made it to bracket at Pound cuz many players don't have Yoshi experience.

You know what would have been better? If it had been recorded.

Still sounds pretty awesome, though. Not gonna lie.
I think it might have been...

okay

so Zelda is like super fun

and super ****

I need to play this character more

I've been doing to much spacies stuff lately

but combing with spacies is so much fun...

but watching people rage over Zelda is better

Low tier vs high tier disadvantages are so easy to overcome in this game. high/top tier vs top/high tier matchups are impossible. People know your tricks

Yes. But Fox can escape if he fully DI's behind you. If that happens, I dash attack and if I get a sweet spot I can toe them out of it
You can get the DI behind it's just really hard... like, single Ice Climber D-throw CG vs Falcon hard.

Magus has a big post on it somewhere here.

Also I think I'm going to be playing more Zelda in the future. Game & Watch's lack of a shield finally got to me. And Kirby doesn't have a cohesive moveset so he's not fun to play at all.

I have to agree with KK on the DI behind thing

from my experience a super low ff'd bair (low(erish) percents) or just a well spaced bair

if you miss, a down smash normally covers options from there.

You could do it, Vman. Zelda is a pretty ridiculous character, even if she can't DJC. :seuss:
nah, i'd love to, sadly i'm not a player anymore, I just want to contribute now. :( real talk, I think i'm hitting/nearing my mid life crisis.. :( that thread you had made me in the Yoshi boards.....is legit... I just don't.........*sigh* if it means much this is how i'm feeling right now....

****ing up in life takes practice, and I feel i'm VERY well rehearsed... :(

I think my problem was that his fairs stayed out longer than I expected so I went in to punish with kicks too early. Idk it was just weird. I was tempted to just use some high tier character and abuse the heck out of his superior moveset but I hate it when people do that to me so I didn't haha

yea you really have to wait until the fair has completely disappeared (because it's retardedly) disjointed, or until he lands (so you can punish with oos kicks)

down-tilt is annoying though, can't seem to remember how I got around that....

Shield fairs and punish with kick out of shield. It doesn't matter how long GaW's fair stays out if you proceed like this because once a hitbox hits your shield, you're invulnerable to it.
