I'm downloading Rocket Knight off Xbox live arcade. Apparently it's a revival/remake of a classic. Anyone ever play the original? I would like the opinion of someone who played it back in its time.

It's the best platformer on the Genesis next to Sonic, imo. I mean you play as a possum with a jet pack and a sword! How can that not be amazing? The music was good and the boss fights were really fun and challenging. It was Konami at it's best.

Ive played through Madworld (it was boring) and NMH1 already, ill probably get the 2nd (im quitting if it has those dumb jobs in between missions tho)
i never liked Fire Emblem, just personal preference

I already have it, it's... all right. There's combat sections that just feel forced, and really don't fit the style of the game. It's fun otherwise when I get to zip around and use the excellent agility to avoid enemies or use hit and run tactics.

So far this game is getting an 8.5, but it's getting closer to an 8 cuz of how short it's supposed to be.

MvC3's controls are based on TvC's.

You might as well get a head start now with an awesome game and get used to the controls at the same time.

Gah I wish I could play that game competitively. So much fun...And MvC3 isn't coming out that soon.

Don't trust Niddo, K Prime, MvC 3 is still in the very early stages of development. There's a lot to be done, and just because there's 3 attack buttons and an exchange button does not make it like TvC, it's more like Blazblue with a A B C and Drive.

uhhh whenever they became rediculously expensive, and required grinding to fill them all out >_> i think like 6000 or 8000 for the cheaper ones im not sure

I am not grinding too much right now, but I doing enough to complete one whole lvl, and then half of another. One of my friends told me to just start focusing on the main job class and dump whatever is left into the other classes.

I would do that, but then I would feel under lvl and that's never good in Final Fantasy.
