Didn't you see? The PM's were disabled for a while, I know it's weird.

Greyfox, does it matter? You're probably going to rage quit that one.
I'll make you rage quit your soul before I take you apart piece by piece.

Don't trust Niddo, K Prime, MvC 3 is still in the very early stages of development. There's a lot to be done, and just because there's 3 attack buttons and an exchange button does not make it like TvC, it's more like Blazblue with a A B C and Drive.
The developers themselves said it's based on TvC's controls. I've been following this stuff for a while now. And they have been working on the game since 2008, so there isn't that much left to be done. >_> They said they wanted the controls to be easily accessible, but have a lot of depth behind them. TvC was basically the trial run for the controls.

Light Hit, Medium Hit, Heavy Hit, Assist Button, and Launcher, though Launcher can do a few other things as well.

TvC is an awesome game. Only stubborn people who can't accept change don't like it.

Yeah, and the developers also admited that they planned on saving characters for MvC3, like Dante.

Yup, they didn't really care about it that much when they made it.

And this is why MvC2 is STILL by far the most competitive game in the history of games today.

Indeed. They also tested out some characters in TvC like Frank West who is all but confirmed for MvC3 as one portrait matches him perfectly. As in they took a previous, well known picture of Frank West, blacked it out, and threw it in there.

I imagine Dante's lack of appearance was largely due to the guy who made the character being extremely picky about what games he showed up in. At one point he had basically said "Dante will never be in a non-DMC game." Apparently MvC3 was enough to change his mind.

And they cared about the game alright. The NA version rebalanced basically the whole cast, made the giants actually useable at tournament level (PTX in particular, Lightan still sucks), created a method so Roll could permanently have 50% more attack power which she needed: It's well made. Heck, I rarely see people say otherwise at the MvC3 board on GameFAQs, and that site is normally filled to the brim with trolls.

I should also add TvC is something MvC2 never was: balanced. MvC2 had quite a small percent of the cast you could actually use in a tournament. TvC, you can use basically anyone the whole way except Gold Lightan, who is a good pocket CP character.

People liked the game, and many wished it wasn't just on the Wii. It's simply different. People cried about MvC having "SF controls but watered down" when it turned out to be good but different; they are just crying about different controls once more.

Talkin' 'bout garbage games and who's better at them.

Which reminds me, I need a new sparring partner. Mine left for the Navy before Donkey Bong did, and I'm starting to get out of shape. Paw, you watch fighting, that's good enough for me. We shall do battle!

Also, Six Flags is so much fun guys. Even though all the ads for Karate Kid kept making me want to watch it immediately on the spot.

I hadn't heard this song in a year before the trailer.

That first showed up in NBA Live '05, along with this gem that disappeared.

Budokai Tenkaichi as a series is terrible.

Budokai 3 is the best DBZ fighter alive.

This man knows whats going on. Budokai by itself is better than Tenkaichi. 3 is the best one but I liked 2's songs. Hyperbolic Time Chamber is just too beast. :D

@Man: I wanna spar with you. :)

Prepare for disappointment, Paw.
The Tenkaichi series is garbage in comparison to the Budokai series.

@UTD: Might get back into that, but I dunno.

So there's a group of girls in the UTLA program with me going to Disneyland tomorrow.

It just might be time to bring the tunes and bust some moves.

Don't worry. That novelty with wither away pretty quickly, Paw.

I felt the same way when I got the first Tenkaichi.

If you want, we can play Budokai 1, 2, or 3. I have all of them.

I think it's still at Tofers, because I know I didn't pick it up.
I might still play it. I have quite a few games to play this Summer.

Hopefully I can beat a single one of them.
